2027 Davin Davidson 4* QB from Sarasota (Cardinal Mooney) Commits to the Gates

Man I don't wanna hear any of that bull****. Amy qb who is a college prospect should not go 3-21 with 2 int against anybody. Hopefully he stays committed to florida tho lmao

Leave it to @cookies to spew a bunch of misleading stats in defense of one of our rivals.

He's trying to tell you "waaah, waaah, Davidson has all-new WRs this year". Meanwhile, THE EXACT SAME THING WAS TRUE LAST YEAR, Davidson was playing with WRs he didn't have multiple years starting with. He's only played 1 year as a starter at Cardinal Mooney.

Sooo...maybe...we have to figure out some excuse why he did SO WELL last year and SO POORLY so far this year. It must be that ONE WIDE RECEIVER who went to powerhouse North Carolina. Yeah, that's the ticket...

Pete sucks, but zero chance he wines more than you
I guess in Pete's defense in this situation, he was in panic mode if you remember at this point of the recruiting cycle and that we would miss out on all our targets and be outside the top 15. LOL
We were rumored to be leading for this Davidson kid, and no one really knew how good of a shot we had with Abrams, so he cried like a scared baby when we were done recruiting this kid because it was him or bust.
But yeah, I don't disagree with your points in your statement.

I guess you don’t know that in football practices, the backup quarterbacks throw to the starting WRs too. It also seems like you are greatly unaware of how much of a cheat code a single future P4 player can provide for a HS team.

My statement was less about a lack of chemistry, although that’s a factor, and more about a talent and experience drain. You should lookup the word misleading in the dictionary. A program that went 26-2 the past seasons getting demolished by STA is still unexpected; even given STA’s prestige.

A blue-chip qb going 3 for 21 is bizarre and ominous of what’s to come; just as an elite 11 qb, in his senior season, getting beat out by a qb two years younger than him à la Trever Jackson and De’eron Coleman; which led to Lane Kiffin pulling Ole Miss commit Jackson’s offer. Maybe the same thing happens here.

You’re not even making a point. Your point is to prolong your odd parasocial obsession with me. You’re not saying the throws on his jr highlight were actually bad and foreboding of this performance. You’re not saying the wide receivers this year are as good as the ones last year. You’re not offering up any rational explanation whatsoever. I actually care about the football played, crazy concept.

It’s impossible to excuse a performance that bad, which is why no one did that. As you show in the screenshot of his stats, he had nothing close to that putrid performance last year. They blew most teams out, he had a 64.6% completion percentage, and a 3.83 TD:INT rate.

So thanks for confirming that this was a great deviation from recent history. Glad i could provide you with the dopamine hit you’re after.

yikes!!!! I thought he was goofy and knew he had a poor elite 11 showing….but his actual highlights from junior year had so many wow throws I thought he might elevate himself this season.

Last year they went 14-1 with their only loss to a 14-0 team from Colorado. Smacked Bolles 52-28 for the state title.

Sink or swim time after a bad showing like this

Yeah they did so that explains some of it but my lord even Art Sitkowski never put up a statline like that. Idk by about a mile for STA but this Cardinal Mooney team has some legit p4 guys as well, mostly younger players tho besides their rb.

Nobody gives a **** about your "other" porsts. Nobody keeps track of all the bull**** that spews out of your mouth like so much diarrhea.

Multiple people responded to ONE of your ****porsts, where you decided to start making up a bunch of statistical rationalizations for Davidson being so ****** in his first game this year.

Now, as usual, you are barking like a hit dog. And don't act like you are only getting lippy with me, you went after @The Real Kirk Lazarus too because he didn't like your David Davidson stroke-off.

My point was very simple. Morons who try to explain and rationalize Davidson's terrible 3-for-21 performance (2 INTs, one for a pick-6) are ridiculous. You boasted about the THREE wide receivers Davidson lost, one to North Carolina, one to Division I-AA, and one as a walk-on. Now you are trying to backpedal into a better reading of that ****porst by bull****ting us that the UNC WR was a "cheat code", and that Davidson must have honed all of his chemistry with those three mid WRs "as a backup" during his sophomore year.

Meanwhile, every other decent QB recruit manages to put up respectable stats with new WRs. Everyone except Davidson.

The most predictable thing about your ****porsts is that you will ALWAYS double-down on your nonsense by making up some NEW nonsense the second time around.

You. Are. Full. Of. ****.

As always.

Kid looks pretty, pretty good thru two weeks. Now with MORE DATA, we know STA’s machine is machining again this year, on overdrive.

Cardinal Mooney went toe to toe with Cardinal Newman in a 47-46 loss. Mooney & Davidson were down 27 Before a comeback; they were preparing to go to OT until the PAT was blocked by Newman. Stats haven’t been uploaded yet last week he was 20 for 26, 256 passing yards, w/ 2 TDs and no INTs. Mooney’s RB is criminally underrated and whoever signs him will be getting a coup. UCF should’ve pushed harder to get him to commit.

Newman beat 4x defending state champions Chaminade 17-14 in the state championship game last year.
