David Njoku

Have to laugh at Mike Farrell saying on twitter that Njoku is nowhere near an elite level TE. C'mon bro. This kid is an absolute freak.

Well he's not an elite level TE.... At least not yet anyway. He does have freakish athletic ability and size but he has a lot of growing to do still as a player.

Farrell's comment that started the twitter war was that Njoku wasn't anywhere near the same class as OJ Howard athletically. My original post was worded poorly. But in any case, while OJ Howard at 6'6 is a beast himself, to say that Njoku isn't anywhere close to him athletically is kind of absurd.

Well both are great athletes with great size. I did see him say that Njoku wasn't a top 5 TE prospect for the 2017 draft right now and that's true. OJ Howard is. Njoku has a chance to prove to be a top 5 TE drafted on the stat sheet. At the combine, I have very little doubt he'll be one of the top performers at the TE position in every drill.

That's a giant load of horse ****. Show me 5 TEs that are draft eligible in 2017 that are better NFL prospects than Njoku.

If we're "projecting" to the NFL, there aren't 5 better TEs than Njoku. Production wasn't there last season but I think that will change this year. Also tight end position is one where dudes skyrocket throught draft boards because of freakish combine numbers.

There's 6 I'd take over Njoku right now. Like I said, Njoku will blow up at the combine but needs to produce more on field.

Jordan legget is not the 6th best TE prospect in the country, he's going to be a high round pick whenever he decides to leave, David Njoku will be on that list after his 650 yard and 8 TD season

Also I can't believe you left Eric Cotton of Stanford and Tyler McNamara of USC

If you were an NFL personnel man you'd be fired.

That's a nice set of TEs.

We'll be relying heavily on them if the freshmen WRs aren't ready or if one of our receivers outside of Coley don't step up.

He's not going to blow up at the draft, he's going to blow up in Richt's offence with a mature Kaaya using him to pick apart EVERY D we face.

These dopes act like The Joke Man hasn't done anything on the field. He had a pretty **** good sophomore season. Winslow didn't really blow up until his junior season. Njoku and Herndon will be monster weapons here.

I'm telling you, I don't know who on our schedule can cover those guys. It's going to be a good year.

Between Coley, Berries, Hondo, Njoku, and the freshmans WRs, we will have a deadly passing offense.

These dudes are sleeping if they think Richt won't carve up opponents with that group. Not to mention, we have two of the best receiving RBs in college football.

Yep. It's about to get really, really good. Mismatches all over the field, and a coach that knows how to take advantage of mismatches. X-Box Coley needs to watch us this year and learn a few things.
