David Njoku

Agreed.

Our Receivers need to show up and Coley has to completely eradicate bubble screens from the playbook or I am going to lose my mind.

Also how about a Runningback screen every now and then Coley? I haven't seen one of those in what seems like years.

Get Tucker in there and run some FB screens too.

Tucker with all that athleticism running a wheel opposite the rollout like we saw VT do last night? He would actually have to play and they'd have to set it up but you'd have to think we could run a similar concept. LBs aren't running with him

Wasn't a pretty play by Njoku.

But it was also the only play we've seen from him. So chillax, yo.

Not a Golden fan at all.

Calling out young players though after 1 game is ridiculous. Relax ladies. Some players take awhile to develop. Some never do. We shall see.

1 game isn't enough to tell.

You don't just learn how to play the ball in the air. That's instinct. Njoku doesn't have it. I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings.

Yet those who saw him in the scrimmages and practice said the exact opposite, and raved about how he played the ball. So I guess he lost that ability some time in between the scrimmages and the BC game? It was ONE PLAY...no one, not even the master football guru that you seem to think you are, can make such an assessment from one game. I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings.

Golden is going to get himself fired. He doesn't need any help in that department.

Soooooo you are basically done with him after one play, huh? LOL. Seriously? Smh.

Njoku has potential. Our last game is the game where we want to try fade routes to Njoku. Better there than in ACC play or against Nebraska. If he had made that play, then maybe you give him some looks against FAU.

Our offense looked underwhelming against an awful team though.

god he was terrible. would be in the right place but didn't know how to play the ball in the air. same for kacy rodgers. he did the same crap against FSU in the end zone. was there in position to make a play and literally made no attempt to intercept of deflect the past.

Asante Cleveland is on an nfl roster. Just sayin.

Cleveland did give us a glimpse of potential as a freshman then he never played again after he was injured. The guy was talented. Let's not pretend like he was a scrub. He was just unlucky as well as on steam with two other NFL tight ends. Man, Golden had some really good talent.

How much do you all want us to show our future opponents against these scrub teams?

in my opinion bubble screens (a.k.a getting our better athletes the ball in space against BCU and FAU) is a perfect way to win and show absolutely nothing to nebraska, VT, FSU, and Clemson

we could have handed off up the middle all game and one who cares

Highsmith had potential to be a really good back up qb. And who knows he could have been our Paul Thompson or Tee Martin. His dad wanted him to be a db for the NFL but he just didn't have it. Dude was always a qb. Unfortunately for Kacy Rogers his career would always be remembered for that choking moment. I didn't think he was that bad. He was decent but he choked on that play against fsu.

Been saying it for years, Coley is even worse than Dorito. He was a terrible hire.

Relative to the talent of their respective units...it would be a fair argument that Coley is even worse as an OC than Onfrio is as a DC.

But we're splitting hairs...they both suck open *** and need to be eradicated from this program.

You can't have a staff this bad without having an underqualified **** poor coordinator on both sides of the ball. It takes a total staff effort to collectively be THAT bad....that's why you gotta give BOTH Coley and Onfrio their due in regards to their respective ineptitude.
