everyone needs to calm down. He is just one BOT member. the train has left the station on this in my opinion. he isn't going to be able to stop the train on his own. he didn't stop Blake from being fired and he was allegedly a big supporter. naturally there is going to be a bit of a power struggle. that's what the ferman news was. someone in the manny camp planted that story but I hope and believe cooler heads will prevail and a change will be made.

Thank you sir. Believe me, 35 years ago, the BOT seemed like untouchable gods when I was a lowly student at UM. Now some of my old friends and classmates are on the Board. It's weird.
 
Can someone explain to me what the BOT is and what their impact on the football program is? This is the first season I’ve payed attention to the behind the scenes politics

I agree that things are likely trending in the right direction. but he has to be made an example of. can't let these people in positions of power think that mediocrity is acceptable. no one wants to get embarrassed in the public eye, it's bad for business.

It's the appointed "Congress" that makes all the laws at UM. The body that has the "power of the pursestrings" at UM. That is the "politics" that people should focus on, not this bull****e about Democrats vs. Republicans.

These articles coming out by Ferman & even others like Manny Navarro or even David Lake, whom all (except Navarro) have gone scorched earth on the program but now when they write things similar to “there is a path or scenario in which Manny could still be coach if they strike out with their top 2 options, etc” that is coming from the Epstein camp or someone that is supportive of Manny.

Well, if you are sabotaging the AD hire as well as trying to sabotage the Mario & Lane hires, that is the fvking possible path for that “another year” possibility even though I am 99.9% positive it’s not gonna happen where he sticks around where before I was 100% positive it wasn’t going to happen.

He is likely interested, but interested and signing on the dotted line are two different things. I doubt he’s watching this **** show going on and salivating

I believe the insiders are caught in the middle of this as well. I don't know, but when you have ppl like epstien effing up the progress, it makes it harder for the insiders.
