2027 David "DJ" Jacobs 5* DE from Roswell, GA (Blessed Trinity Catholic)

I hate to be that guy but do they remain in the top 5 of they commit to UM? Personally I don’t care, but these really early commits are often pushed down some to generate interest for recruiting services.
Did Cici drop out of being top 10? Did Cantwell drop? Sure they can drop but the anti Miami bias is for the most part just made up fan angst.

Wait, kid lives in GA and his dad, who seems very involved in his recruitment played for UGA?

I’m the biggest Kool Aid drinker there is but man this would be Mario’s best pull yet if he commits and even better yet sticks.

His family is VERY close to Richt I think and Richt put him in touch with Mario and they have a great relationship

Keep in mind that the kid’s dad played for Pastor Richt, who is also the kid’s godfather?

That’s wild. If that’s true then Kirby must not want to keep winning. You can’t win at the level they’ve won without high school kids.
The thing is that their HS recruiting hasn’t exactly suffered all that much. They are still landing top 5 classes every year doing what they are doing. Now all that said, **** that **** stain program.

Georgia wants a home town discount for everyone. They feel they’re such an elite program that kids should come to their program for less than market value. I predict this philosophy will change once they start losing more kids like this.

**** em. They sell that we’ll pay you when you start BS. I respect it, they’ll still get good players but **** Georgia is loaded with talent every year. If we can get a few top 10 players from there every year we’re cooking.

Now keep in mind that UGA has always lost players in that state, especially from the ATL metro area. Those kids have always been similar to SFLA players where they will go elsewhere. UGA more than makes that up by going national.

If you look just from a performance stand point, particularly this season, we have outperformed UGA in almost every metric. And its not like we played a bunch of bums or is playing in the cheez it bowl. Its not just hope and lip service. So in addition to the financial aspect we can now put up development on D with any school. I think our defense is the best in the nation based on some of the teams we played and how we performed against them.

Its not just selling a pipe dream. I think we should not have the suck tax applied for the foreseeable future.

We have 41 sacks #4, UGA has 20, #104. And that's with the same amount of games played.
