2027 DERAILED: David "DJ" Jacobs 5* DE from Roswell, GA (Blessed Trinity Catholic) OG Thread 1.0

Get his **** out your mouth man lol
Yeah we all know he knows what he's talking about. And We all want Jacobs to be a Cane.

Its also a fact we've seen these type of recruitments before where there have been several bad signs along the process. Hopefully we win it of course. But It is also a FACT that the longer it takes to flip a 5star player, the less likely it happens with the way NIL is now. especially once you actually enter the football season. Its also not like he's committed to some *** team with no money. Get real man. We aren't the leader in his recruitment, so anyone acting like there is some >50% chance we land him is trippin (and I'm not saying D is saying that). Pointing out CLEAR AS DAY bad signs like missing his OV, is a very reasonable thing to say.

You're such a clueless dope.

Your entire "expert opinion" is predicated on vagaries like "we've seen things like this before". Meanwhile, @Brooklyndee knows about multiple unannounced visits. The funniest part is how you state that it is a "FACT" that the longer it takes to flip a 5-star player, the less likely it happens WITH THE WAY NIL IS NOW. Soooo...something that has changed in the last year...already has a history of outcomes that you have observed, and you have the nerve to call it a "FACT"? That doesn't make sense.

I don't give a **** how many times you use terms like "less likely", you are just yammering about things you don't know about.

Allow me to illustrate the validity of your statistical probability analysis:

@DMoney why were you saying if Olu didn’t pick us this summer that we’d pretty much be out of his recruitment? Why were you saying Mathews is still flippable in regards to NIl?

Does you think that with the way NIl is, it’s far more difficult to flip elite 5star player late in the season?

Wonder what you think about timing+nil and why you were using that in regards to 5star OT recruiting since @TheOriginalCane thinks NIL effect on flipping recruits is nonexistent.

Now you have to call DMoney to help you fight your battles? Sad. And pathetic.

Again, I'm using YOUR words. Not DMoney's.

You said it was a FACT (your word AND your capitalization) that it was less likely that 5-stars would flip "with the way NIL is now".

I realize you refuse to acknowledge that you are ever wrong, but this is just ridiculous. The reality is not about "statistical likelihoods", the reality is about what any recruit has signed and what types of clauses he may or may not be subject to. As one of our flip candidates recently said, he hasn't signed any paperwork yet.

So rather than listen to you going on and on about probabilities and whatnot, I'll instead choose to trust that if a kid is taking the visits in anticipation of flipping his commitment, he AND UM are collectively aware of whether there are any barriers to changing his commitment. And for the record, I never said what you claim I said ("nonexistent"). I said that I trust @Brooklyndee 's intel far more than I trust your "statistical" nonsense.

Yeah, now go run off to DMoney to help you make your bull**** argument...

Be real though, we took them out in the playoffs in Overtime, its not like they bombed and went 7-5. They went 11-1 regardless of the schedule.
Being real they've had a team built up for years that spending didn't start with elko era. It started and has been consistent since day 1. We also played in weather no one apparently can comprehend. The whole take of we were too passive and our field goal kicker just happened to suck that game is cataclysmic levels of dip****. That game in Miami we beat them by 3 touchdowns.
Facts we dominated that game. The wind helped them more than us. We would have beat them by 20 easy if there was no wind. Even in there own stadium we would of dog walked them

Flips are still a thing even in NIL. The elite schools even without NIL had less flips if it was a real star player. Those are the ones the elite hold onto after a commit. But to me it’s the same as before, you can flip anyone

Exactly.

But @Calinative reads a DMoney post and starts running around screaming about FACTS as if he knows something.

You’re legit really retarded

Did you need to get anyone to help you with that response? Or are you capable of using problematic language all on your own?

You still have not responded to how you have "factually" been able to determine a statistical range of outcomes for blue-chip recruits over the last year when NIL language has become more restrictive.

When will admit that you've made 25,000 posts of purely speculative bull****?

Lmao, your responses have been getting sadder and sadder man

There’s just no reason to argue with you when you’re going out of your way to be retarded regarding this subject. My reply is you just going and rereading what I said. Cause you have no argument against it still lol

That's the second time you've used that problematic word.

And, no, I'm not going to re-read your illogical and speculative porsts. Because they won't get any better the second or third time.

I think it has to do with different states having different rules on high school recruits signing NIL contracts. I could be wrong but I BELIEVE florida doesn't allow them to actually sign before a certain period, thus the possibility of circling back on Matthews and upping the offer.

We just flipped 5⭐️ Donte Wright and 4⭐️ Ai'king Hall from Georgia and Bama.

and we have a good shot at either Jacobs/Bryant.

Will it happen? Who knows.

But each school has a different NIL structure. Some kids sign binding agreements that are kind of hard to get out of, others dont.

At the end of the day let the staff work. They have already proven then can not only flip but bring in ELITE level dudes from everywhere.

Amazing. A fact-based assessment, rather than a vague collection of guesses and a plea for DMoney's backup.

Very accurate.
