2027 David "DJ" Jacobs 5* DE from Roswell, GA (Blessed Trinity Catholic) Commits to OSU

Honest question… where are the holes in the Canes operation? Is there a disconnect between recruits and coaches? NIL not what it is represented as? Will it simply take continued success over multiple years? What doesn’t the fanbase see that isn’t working?
I honestly don’t know. I’m tripping right now so it’s not the right time to ask. A victory on Wednesday can cure a lot of these issues but who knows.

I just want our DL to continue being elite. These are the type of kids who can do that. It is what it is.

OSU is loaded every where. Tonight is a great example why. Miami needs to get on the same page and load up on blue chippers instead of taking so many 3 stars that are reaches.
Lot of respect for you, man, but Jesus Christ dude today you should just put down the phone until after the game

Other than WRs and busts at CB has Ohio St put a lot of players in the league?

I know with NIL it’s not as important but where are the successful Ohio linemen in the league?
Going to be called a Buckeye slurper because of your post but to answer they put multiple players in the league each year that are not just draft picks but day 1 and 2 picks in just the trenches.

Miami isn't close to them as far as players drafted or NFL production but is slowly closing the gap on the 1st.

I hope I’m dead wrong and would love to eat crow. Wednesdays outcome doesn’t mean I’m wrong when you look at their recruiting classes and NFL prospects. It’s simply at a different level. Nothing wrong with pointing the obvious. Tonight, was an example why, unfortunately.

Except everyone who’s covering this matchup believes we are more talented on both lines of scrimmage than they are…

So yea, you’re wrong

it probably felt that way for OSU in the Natty vs us, we had the better roster but up front they had dogs and matched us at the LOS. We can do the same to them, its not an unwinnable game bruh. Would it shock me if OSU won? NO..............but it wouldn't surprise me if we won.

Kid can't sign for a year. Lots of other guys who will emerge.

Who knows where he ends up but I wouldn't waste any more time on him right now...

How do you read any of this and not think **** this kid? lmao.
It’s ****** that it sounds like they were only negotiating with OSU at the end without giving Miami the opportunity. That said, this is going to happen a lot when you have agents working for kids behind the scenes. You can just say **** off to 5 star talent that is very impressionable.

Ok, slept on this one. Far from a done deal. The unhappy parents & family knew exactly what was going on. This is about NIL money. Very close family with very involved parents. Their displeasure was telling the college football world that Ohio State isn’t a done deal & come impress us. Believe Miami might be the #2 choice, though real crown is UGA. Family lives an hour from campus & dad played for the Dawgs. To this point, Kirby has opted not to open the bank for HS NIL deals. Family’s hope is Kirby eventually will pay for an elite local talent with deep Dawg ties.
