When a police officer detains/arrests someone, they are 100% responsible for the suspects safety. It's drilled into their heads at police academy, prison guards are taught the same thing.

And Chapelle, was right. Doesn't matter what the guy did, or his drug history, or any of that. Four guys, in gross negligence, killed a man in their custody. Choked him out in nine minutes.

Three guys in gross negligence, one guy is a f-ing murderer.

Dave Chappelle & Patrice O'Neal are my two favorite comedians of all-time.
Patrice was an absolute legend, always kept it real and we’re missing him during these times where everything is ultra PC. I regret I only found out more about him recently but better late than never. You know you were special when Bill Burr says you were the funniest guy he knew, RIP

99.5% of America agrees with this. As for the .5%, F ‘em.

So is it impossible to understand what he is saying and agree with his mission while also disagreeing about celebrating a person who murdered police officers because the person believed his complaint of excessive force (not a death) was not heard? Asking for a friend...

Sigh.....

He wasn't celebrating C. Dorner. He was saying in Chris' mind, he was exacting revenge; that didn't matter, b/c when he was found, 400 police officers were sent on location and they took absolutely no mercy on him for his crimes. Why? B/c Dorner killed one of them, and they were angry....so since they know how it feels, the anger they feel when one of theirs is murdered, they should know the feeling of all of these upset people when they witness police officers murdering their own.

I commend your patience and willingness to provide a thorough explanation. My reply to his comment was curt. I honestly wanted to be harsher. I will take your approach going forward!

Man, I'm realizing people don't get it bro. Like when one of my clients said, "well, don't all lives matter?" I just said, of course, but your life has been mattering since the beginning, my peoples' lives have not, hence the protest. Smh. When you live in a bubble, haven't been exposed to much, or your views are curtailed by what you're surrounded by, it's hard to understand. I get it, which is why as I get older and have expanded my association, it makes sense. Doesn't make it right, but I get it.

Dave is the GOAT. He’s one of very few people who Idc what they say I’ll always come back for more. He could join ISIS and id still watch his Netflix special from Syria.

Bruh, I have been having this exact conversation for days on end, since the murder.

The biggest names in comedy thought Patrice was the funniest dude alive. Criminally underrated. Easily top five of my lifetime.

**** shame he died not having much and not being a way bigger name.

They get it. You will realize it in due time. They just want everything explained to them like Matthew McConaughey is talking to them during “A Time To Kill” - and then they will still find a way to be shallow and cowardice as ****.

BTW, still ****ed about Philando Castile. The difference between him and George Floyd was that Philando WAS complying from beginning to end. He was not charged with a crime.

He even let Barney ******' Fife know he was a CCW holder. Barney Fife asked to see it, changed his mind in two seconds and shot him down.

Castile could've been all of us.

Chappelle of course is entitled to his opinion and ask people to pay money for it. More power to him. But he is a comedian. Most people come to see him to be entertained and escape the lunacy, not be subjected to this kind of stuff. If they want to listen to this, they can save their $40-$60 on a ticket and tune in to the Al Sharpton show.

He's generally a funny dude and can weave social commentary in his edgy comedy. That's fine. That is what people want and pay for. This will not help his career though.

worth a watch. He doesn't mince words. I think it is pretty difficult for anyone to watch that and not understand the outrage.
