There will be losses but that’s the price of admission.Good questions. But she does realize some of those businesses were black owned, and had black employees, or serviced black neighborhoods with needed goods and services.
Those blacks were trying to do something to advance themselves and their hood. Now what?
I would like to ask her was her place of employment smashed up? Will it recover? Does she own a business that was burned down?
Does the shop where she buys her clothes, or personal products still around?
And you probably did some of those businesses a favor because most weren’t going to survive anyway due to the impacts of the covid lockdown. 70% of all small businesses were going to go under, so at least they’ll now get the insurance payout.
