Our staff seems to have a problem trusting young players early in the season. Regardless of them enrolling early or not.

I don't know how instant he will be. He needs a lot of technical work at linebacker and a lot of weight room work. He is a physical specimen though and would love to see him on kickoffs next year. Anyways giving him a red shirt might not be a bad idea.

Disagree on the second point. He was the weight lifting champion for 216s as a junior and is in a great program right now at Oakleaf. He is now weighing in at 226 pounds and I expect him to be up to 230 in janaury. He has been back and forth on early enrolling, but I think he will receive playing time either way freshman year. Early enrolling will just help him get on the field faster.
