You guys also need to remember what position he was playing. All it takes is 30 seconds watching his film to understand his stat line. An OLB/S$ is rarely going to have over 100 tackles. Most of the time he's going to be setting the edge on runs to his side, and shuffle-playing cut back on run plays away.

If he's at F$, then he could very well lead the team in tackles if the scheme dictates that. If a defense is regularly playing Robber coverage (inverted Cover-2) then the F$ is almost always going to be 2nd or 1st in tackles. His team doesn't seem to play that scheme -- most HS programs don't, as it's extremely complicated for HS kids with limited practice and film time.

It doesn't matter, some of these guys don't know football and just assume sh^t because of stats.
 
Based off this film he looks like a stud. Big, strong and physical and keeps playing till the whistle blows. Also you don't see guys his size laying out to block extra points, must have some speed and quickness to do that. I believe we brought him in to play linebacker but he would put fear into receivers if he played safety.
