Do you guys NOT REALIZE he was playing next to an ALL WORLD 2016 MLB in Shaq Quarterman and on the other side an UTSA Commit at the outside backer? Dont go off of stats alone boys. Your production will be limited when teams gameplan and run AWAY from him and he has 2 other FBS LB mates playing next to him. C'mon now, common sense boys,.
You guys also need to remember what position he was playing. All it takes is 30 seconds watching his film to understand his stat line. An OLB/S$ is rarely going to have over 100 tackles. Most of the time he's going to be setting the edge on runs to his side, and shuffle-playing cut back on run plays away.
If he's at F$, then he could very well lead the team in tackles if the scheme dictates that. If a defense is regularly playing Robber coverage (inverted Cover-2) then the F$ is almost always going to be 2nd or 1st in tackles. His team doesn't seem to play that scheme -- most HS programs don't, as it's extremely complicated for HS kids with limited practice and film time.
