I know, not another player...., but this guy is a beast. Dolphins turning over the staff, correct? Backup the Brinks truck.

Would be a fantastic upgrade over the incompetent fool that just got fired. Doubt he would take a college job demotion, but we could do far worse.

As mentioned before, S&C guy for the pros is an entirely different skill set than for college. Need a college guy.

Would you not want this team to look like Seattle, lean, strong and fast.

Lmao, our team is so far from that physically than we cannot fathom that as a possibility at this point. I wish we had a team that looked that like. Right now, I would settle for a squad that won't get bullied at the line.

I don't think I agree with this

I can see an arguement both ways, I suppose, but my gut tells me that if you spend your whole career working on guys who are already fully developed as adults, do you have the skillset necessary to work with a blank slate in 18-19 YOs I'm sure knowledge is great, but practical experience in working with that age group is entirely different.

Educate me/.

If you're knowledgeable enough to train NFL players you can work with developing college players.

I think comparing NFL coaches to college coaches is a better argument. NFL coaches deal with highly-paid professionals whereas college coaches are not. No different for S&C coaches, from a relationship standpoint.

My post was really lazy but knowing the upstanding gentleman you are I knew you would explain. I can see your point. On one hand, coaching in different weight rooms shouldn't be a challenge for a seasoned S and C guy. You're required to work with all age groups and disciplines the further you get.

But yeah I can see where you're going. Elite is elite though. I believe in Richt here. I mentioned in the WEZ that his teams have always always always passed the eyeball test even if the results haven't been there.

Well, at least Krien is a guy actually doing the job, not just a former player who people think might or should be able to do a job they've never done...

id like to point out nfl guys aren't complete packages. coaches there develop guys . There is a reason calais campbell , sam sheilds were avg at miami and studs in pros.

they got the training and the coaching they didn't get at miami. a pro s&c coach knows what it takes to get to next level and can get miami kids there. u get kids in nfl shape and they will perform just as well.

the goal in college is to get kids bulked up , add speed and agility same as in pros.
