Seems like he’s really been an advocate for the athlete first and foremost. Shouts out Miami in this statement

You also know that Heitner believes you have a good case. My nephew consulted with him about trying to get an extra year to play college basketball and Heitner did not think they could win. And I give him credit for that because he did not take their money and gave an honest opinion. That is how good lawyers operate.Well he has been active at the roots of Florida NIL law as he assisted to write the laws for the State of Florida. When you see an athlete with an NIL issue and his representative is Heitner you know the kid is serious.

I saw this part of the show last night. I thought she was very good, too.

Not disputing that Darren Heitner, Esq. does a fine job representing athletes in current times. Not disputing that Miami hasn't benefitted a ton from his guidance and expertise on this uncharted territory. Not disputing that we haven't landed players directly because of his counsel. Also not disputing anything he said is not factually true. There's just something about reading an over the top, look at me while I pat myself on the back, self-aggrandizing message that never quite sits right with me. If he's THAT good, why the need to make a tweet about it? Based on the 30+ schools he's worked with, it's already known by those who need to know.

Literally lol'ed.Just personal marketing like everyone does with social media in 2026
He just did an ad for himself that’s gonna generate a stupid ROI that cost him nothing and about 10 seconds
But I’ll put on my old man cap and scream at the ocean with you, brother
Haha. No sir. Not at all. I've wasted, er spent, plenty of money on a couple of them for different reasons. I just left that layer out of my other old person commentary.First experience with lawyers?
I generally agree with you. I never advertise as a lawyer and have always felt that word of mouth is the best marketing possible (and it has proven to be true). BUT, Heitner is effectively marketing himself through social media as you know. I don’t care for it, but I can understand why he’s doing it. He’s basically telling the next person who needs an attorney to come to him.View attachment 355833

I get it. I also align my business advertising with what you stated. It is what it is.I generally agree with you. It’s basically a billboard. Just as annoying and ubiquitous as lawyers on billboards telling you that they have won ___ millions for their client. To me they are all eyesores.
Shhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeet, he plugged us in a big way tooJust personal marketing like everyone does with social media in 2026
