Darrell Jackson

If he comes back on Dec. 15th that gives him a few days to get ready to play in the Deez Nuts Bowl or Cap’n’Crunch Bowl against S. Dakota State so this works out perfectly for the Criminoles.

Jackson, Burrough, and the UNC kid aren't "scout team" types. Heck, all three in the 2 deep if able to play especially with Deen injuried.
Those guys are all participating on their respective scout teams. Transfers are allowed to practice, they just can’t play in games.

So, he's willing to sacrifice a year of eligibility to play in one game?

Edit: Or should I say, FSU is willing to throw him under the bus to gain a one game advantage?

Huge gamble and he lost big because he cant even take advantage of the TV exposure FSU is getting for being a top 5 team AND he cant take advantage of playing next to Jared Verse either.

This appears to be a hole in the redshirt rule. A player can play in the conference championship game, the semi-final game and the national title game and still redshirt that season.

IMO the redshirt rule needs to state that a player can only play in the first three games of the season, not any three games.

You can play in 4 games and RS. I don't think bowl games count towards that total either
