Dante Moore returning to Oregon

Still was a talented 5 star who ucla wanted to keep. I would guess way more than half of P4 would have taken him as a sophomore
Yes, but he was benched for a kid who was only a junior and had another year to start. So sitting 1 year behind Garbers at Cal or sitting 1 year behind Gabriel was about the same.

P4 isn't always appealing for guys with that much eligibility left.

Are we sure Moore retuning to Oregon is a guarantee? Here’s why I ask. Raiola only committed two days ago. I have a hard time believing Moore woke up this morning and decided to completely change his mind and return to Oregon. Moore could easily want a change of scenery and go somewhere else

I know it won't happen but imagine Raiola and Longstreet sitting in the bench next season while were starting Emory. Lol dammit mane

Actually, transferred to sit behind Gabriel at Oregon. Nix was already gone.
Big difference is that Moore was coming off a true freshman season. Raiola has been a starter for two seasons in the b10? Is he really going to sit during his Junior year

our staff portal approach is what clearly deserves the dunce hat
Right. After they went out two years ago and brought in Cam. And went out last year and completely flipped the defense and got Beck.

I agree we missed out on a position that you can’t afford to miss at, but some of you just talk out of your asses

Yes he doesn’t have to rush through coming back from injury, can maintain his redshirt if Dante goes down (new rule changed to 9 games), will get a full spring practice with the team next year, and his brother goes along with him to Oregon.

He isn’t the top qb amongst all the names in 2027 anyways. He could be a top qb in 2028 after he gets 12+ starts in the 2027 season.

He’s probably been committed there since Thanksgiving

This makes no sense. There is no way Raiola is going there to sit and then take second team snaps.

But, if he did say it’s ok to sit, will he want more money if Moore gets hurt?
Also, what if the team notices that he’s better than Moore?
Will that split up the locker room?
You’re creating a potential qb controversy and it doesn’t guarantee that Raiola stays next year.

However, maybe they are spending now to not have to worry about a portal qb next year the way they did with Moore behind Gabriel.

This is the reason I was so high on Mestamaker because he has at least 2 more years of eligibility.
