Danny Stubbs on Schiano

UM doesnt allow Danny Stubs and rest of ex players on the field because...... Nevin Shapiro Ugh this administration

Definitely one of the better DEs.

But McDougle had 48 QB hurries in his junior season - I don't know if anyone has been in the backfield that often as a Cane....

But Stubbs was solid - and I think he was good in the pros, too....can't quite remember....

He was ****ing great here. Nice guy too.

Solid? Stubbs had 17 SACKS not hurries in one season. Not today pass happy times either. Danny was all that and then some. Still, Mad Stork is my man but Stubbs was a beast. No dirt on McDougle by any means, but when someone owns the Cane single season sack record, you merely bow and proclaim you are not worthy.

That was one of Donna's self-imposed things. Like any of that crap was someone other than her's fault. ***** should have resigned.

Stubbs had 17 sacks in 1986. 17. On DL with Jerome Brown. Stubbs is the all-time sack leader at UM with 39.5. He was better than "one of the better DEs, " and "solid."

No players rule has Al written ALL OVER IT.

He knew the majority of players were already skeptical and them being present would infiltrate his imaginary "bunker".

He could play crazy all he wants, he was well aware of the noise and pressure.

Schiano is nothing like AG. People speaking who say that and he's a scrub are completely wrong. Only similarities is they both went to Northeast mid level schools. Id like to know what there basing this on? Is it because he was fired in Tampa? From what i hear he is prolly the front runner right now for the job so i guess you can get your banners ready again.

I'll also add he would definetly not retain Coley or Dorito obviously but could see some other assistants with Miami ties having a chance to be on staff. KB being 1 of them.

Also, the schedule had fewer games back then. And he produced those stats against some of the best teams in the country.

The only guys I want to hear from on Schiano are the ones who played for him. Stubbs is probably older than him.

Maybe he was referring to the Jersey coach thing.
Stubbs went to Red Bank HS in NJ.

Look at his conference and overall record when he didn't have Ray Rice.

was Schiano even coaching when Stubbs was playing?

You're one of those "New Miami" fans aren't ya?

Stubbs was an 80's guy Schiano came in late 90's
