Amazing that people keep spewing the "need a Miami guy" "connections to Miami) rhetoric.
The 2 guys that failed BEFORE Golden were "Miami guys"!
Being a "Miami guy" means nothing!
We need a good coach who's hungry, who has some specialization (offense or defense) that will maximize the talent base, and who wants to be in South Florida with his family.
If that's Charlie Strong, I'd take Charlie Strong ... And I think he would do well.
But I also think Chad Morris, Dana Holgorsen, Bryan Harsin, and Lane Kiffin might be able to do well, too ... At least, on one side of the ball. if nothing else, they'd certainly give us entertaining offenses.
Did this ******** say Bill Snyder?
Dudes an awesome coach but he's pushing 80. Lol, gtfoh
Give me Mike Leaach or Butchh
Give me Mike Leach or Butchh

After the 3rd consecutive game where his defense gives up 500+ yards and 40 something points you all would be ready to have his head on the chopping block. Offensively he would do wonders, but his defenses have always been sh*t.
Only thing is this... Where has he ever been that he could actually get quality defenders? He's never been the head coach at a school that would have access to the quality defenders he would have access to at UM. Also, imagine his offence with South Florida talent. I'd be willing to give him a shot here, but I don't see it ever happening.Give me Mike Leach or Butchh

Mike leach is a bum *** coach
I was thinking Bill Lazor as well. He had a good year as the Dolphins OC and he was on Chip Kellys staff with the Eagles before that. I want to see what he does with the Dolphins this year.
