Dan radakovic fighting the good fight

Need Dana. Get Bezos. Idgaf about politics. Need Ron to keep tweeting. Need Scott and Moody. Marco needs to pay the Arabs for an ops campaign. The whole Florida political machine behind us until DJT fires off a 2:00 am tweet from the ******* at Mar-a-lago threatening the committee, espn, and everyone involved. Idgaf. Get it done by any means possible.

what Rad should be doing is openly mocking the committee and going on every show and say he’s calling every AD outside of the B1G, SEC, and Notre Dame and warning them about ever scheduling one of those teams in the future thinking it will help SOS. Head to head wins are irrelevant.

Even if their team wins, it won’t matter one bit to the playoff committee if one of their preselected cfb schools is in the mix. And of course if they lose they are effectively eliminated from ever getting an at large bid since those are reserved for the blue bloods.

Committee doesn’t even care about last two weeks of the regular season- it figured out who it wants in the playoffs weeks ago and is now just making **** up to retroactively justify their fraudulent choices and ignoring their own rules.

And then he should say, “I’m done pretending that the committee is impartial or has any integrity and isn’t rigging the playoffs for certain teams. They can go to ****”. Take off the mic and leave.

Playing nice isn’t going to change things. Only chance is to embarrass them by telling the public that the committee is no different than the WWE. They already know the winners. Cfb fans are marks and committee is laughing at their naïveté.

The national headline should be “Miami AD goes nuclear on CFB” and it would be front page news with every 24 hr news network showing the clip and it going viral on social media.

Anyone with a shred of knowledge of how the media cycle works could work the system to get Miami into the playoffs. But unfortunately for us we have potatoes running the school.

The main problem with the College Football Playoff process is that the committee releases rankings too early. They published the rankings right after our losses, at a moment when Miami looked like they were trending downward. At the time, putting Notre Dame ahead of Miami may have seemed reasonable to most people.

But now the committee has essentially anchored to that spot, and it’s become very difficult for them to move Miami ahead of Notre Dame — even though the on-field results since then say otherwise.

I don’t understand why the we need to have CFp rankings before the season plays out. It’s premature. The rankings should work more like college basketball’s Selection Sunday — let all the games be played, allow the head-to-head results and metrics to fully settle, and then rank teams with all the evidence on the table.
All of this. Lake mentioned it on their post-game pod, the committee really needs to just scrap their rankings and re-do them this week. They won’t, obviously, but right now we’re being killed by the same thing that always keeps SEC teams propped up, poll inertia.

I’d pay good money for someone to look me in the eyes and tell me with full belief that Alabama, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame are better football teams than Miami. They can’t, because they aren’t, but like you said they got anchored by prior week rankings.

I have a feeling we jump ND tomorrow

I also think Ole Miss should get left out, half the staff is in ******* Baton Rouge for God sakes..... you don't think the players are also checked out and looking for next year's team?

Would like to see how many players check out before the game

I say Kash Patel because Pam Bondi is a Gator although in this case UF is out of it (along with FSU) so it should just be a state of Florida thing after FSU also go screwed 2 years ago.

I think the issue is that in College Basketball they have the NET rankings, which replaced RPI, so there's very little mystery about who is getting selected come selection Sunday.

There is the FPI for college football, but it doesn't work nearly as well because there are so many fewer games and less common opponents.

CFP just shouldn't have ranked us 8 spots behind a team we beat when we had the same record in the first ranking, which was absurd, despite how bad we were playing. They could have caveated it that had we lost another game we would drop like a rock. They screwed the pooch from the start, and are going to look ridiculous either way - leaving us below ND or jumping us 3 spots ahead of them at the end of the year when both teams have been winning

I mean I did accuse him of being in a weekend at Bernie’s situation and not sure if tweets really move the needle there

He should have been doing this weeks ago. And who cares about tweets? Get your *** on TV and social media shows and lobby for us! It’s always too little, too late with this school.
And had we **** the bed at Pitt as we typically do late in the season then what? We needed it to play out. ACC looks like the clown show it is with Duke in the ACC Championship. Metrics are in our favor as Rad pointed out. We now can go on the campaign. If Alabama and BYU get boat raced on Saturday, then how does the committee justify a 3 loss Bama who got dominated by FSU? You hold the committee by their own rules.
