You know it's a sad day in Canesland when we have to proclaim a straight shooting broadcaster as a hero for calling out our woefully inept coaching.

He was spot on. But so what? We have been saying this for years.
Like he said ..... announcers usually go out to their way to be very careful criticizing coaches even when their incompetence is staring them straight in the face so it was refreshing to hear someone call it like it is

The 1st thing any decent analyst notices when they watch Miami is how static Richt's offense is. It sticks out like a Brachiosaurus compared to the modern offense almost every team runs.

Richt, Jason Garrett, Mike McCarthy, etc. are on their way out of jobs.

That lack of innovation and stubbornness happens when you've had a talent advantage in over 80% of your games as OC or HC. He isn't willing to admit he has made major mistakes

True. But you have wind bags like Barry Jackson who was getting into constant debates with CiS and @Geo305 on twitter saying it was talent and misevaluations as the primary reason for the teams struggles; not coaching. Guys like Orlovsky are sheep herders, and he did his job impeccably where he lead/herded Barry Jackson the sheep down the right path.

I agree... it was the best part of the broadcast. Just sad where we're at.
