A rare breed. A football broadcaster who is willing to be openly critical of a current HC. They usually just go out of their way to dump on players in order to keep their handshaking goodtime Charlie relationships with coaches alive. You almost never hear such unbridled honesty, so it was refreshing to hear his honesty in trashing Rickety last night.

He’s a noted film junkie too, so the imbecile Cane nation can’t claim he doesn’t know football. The guy is so studied in the game that he should broadcast in a white doctor’s smock.

Anyone who reads this site can come up with all the material on Canes football 6 months in advance..

That was even a more pleasant surprise than the "planned" rugby style punt off some kid's a$$.

You will see actual rugby style punts next year.

What you witnessed during the GT game was more failed development and play form current punters on the roster.

I think he is a genius and I’m glad he called out Richt the entire game. It’s amazing how long Richt has been in football and is still completely clueless.

Need that portion of the game put on youtube asap, with the espn 1 top 20 offense in like 20 years caption.

He was spot on. But so what? We have been saying this for years.
And who, besides people on this board, have heard what you said? He is an ESPN broadcaster who said it on national television. That platform is a lot larger than us preaching to the choir on this board!

Voices in a position of knowledge and/or power have more influence than some dudes like us crying on a message board. That’s why. Do you really need it explained?

Orlovsky spelling it out probably prompted Barney Jacksoff to suddenly reverse course and go in on Rickety after last week claiming he should be allowed to try to fix it himself. Guys like Barney, who have the acumen of a 12 year old, need voices of knowledge to tell them what to think.
