Allows us to eat at the same restaurant. The extra $20-$30M is nice, but where does that put us in relation to the Alabama's & Georgia's of the world? I know we'll never have more money than the "football is God" State schools, but how close does it get us?

This gif is mesmerizing
I'd say better Nutrition and training table. Miami's players always seem to look smaller compared to bigger programs where football is taken more seriously.Just curious what are some of the areas that our facilities/football program really needs to upgrade? Feels like we've made some progress in the last few years but trail the big boys by a lot. Some that come to mind based off what I know - locker room, players lounge, nutritional stuff, recruiting budget, etc. Seems like 20-30 Mill could go a long way.
People don’t realize healthcare is one of the more difficult and hostile environments when it comes to colleague relationships. Not that I've ever worked on it directly, but they're in constant flux with that partnership/agreement. I'm surprised people haven't gone to blows over some of their...disagreements. Ha.
BTW, love your tagline. Reminds me of "el que da primero, da doble."
U-Health doesn’t have a level 1 Trauma center, Jackson does. Though they are affiliated when it comes to some of the doctors working at both places and the VA as well, and im sure some money being exchanged also. U-Health is a private entity and Jackson is a County hospital hence why Alex Penelas as mayor pushed for a vote to increase the tax a half percent to increase revenue for Jackson.
The residency programs for the doctors are also affiliated with the university because they fall under academic medicine and make Jackson a teaching hospital for which they also get paid money by the federal government out of the tax money generated for the centers for Medicare and Medicaid services. Before, Jackson was the only
Level 1 trauma center south of Orlando and then others started opening up like Kendall Regional and such. Now, Main Baptist was denied their request to open a Trauma Center because SoFla has too high a Trauma Center to land area ratio. UMiami Hospital does not have a Trauma Center.
If it's 20-30M recurring, it's a significant % increase from our presumed previous operating budgets. Question is whether or not it's recurring or a one-time cash infusion from which we expect to produce self-sustaining revenue.$20-30 Million doesn't sound like that much when Mich State seems willing to pay Mel Tucker almost $100M over 10 years. And Mel really has a fairly unimpressive resume except for this year.
Astute observation. I was placing both enterprises under the UHealth banner for brevity. 99% of the layman associate Jackson with Miami and vice versa.U-Health doesn’t have a level 1 Trauma center, Jackson does. I suggest you read #251 genius. So you're saying he was wrong on the facts. Interesting. Not shocking.
They would know a thing or two about not having money. After all, their Athletic Department was broke at one point.Funny reading all the comments on twitterland from UF FSU fans and others specifically fsu fans…saying Miami doesn’t have money and we’re broke lol
Just gonna sit back and watch…
Just a reflection of all the money these schools are making. These conferences basically print moneyCollege football coaches are going to be making $15mm a year soon. This **** is out of control.
Its gets very sticky in a hurry determining whose banner the standard of care was rendered. Moreover, Jackson benefits from Sovereign Immunity, limiting the liability ($$$) they face from "errors/missteps." There's also been a back and forth about whether UHealth should operate under the same immunity when providing services to government partners.

In Lazzari v. Guzman, M.D., No. 3D19-597, 2020 WL 6302405(Fla. 3d DCA Oct. 28, 2020), the Third DCA upheld a trial court’s ruling that the University...www.jdsupra.com
Miami spends $30 million on football already. You add an infusion of 20-30 million and you’re probably the highest budget private school football program in the P5 by a mile.Allows us to eat at the same restaurant.
I suggest you read #251 genius.
You simply can't help yourself can you.
You should speak with your provider about Xanax.Hilarious.

"The "I really said this, but then really didnt say it, you know what I'm saying?" Is a hallmark of the weak bullshït artist."
Or maybe you can explain why your "brevity" and "layman" excuses led you to opine on how UM could be open to $400 million of liability with "a misstep or two".
You are the king. The King of Weak Bullsh!t Artists, as you call it.
Look, I don't care if you name-drop every hospital in the country while you backpedal, the reality is that you stepped into deep dogsh!te when you claimed that UM's $400 million in profits could be wiped out with "a misstep or two", and all the attempted argumentative rehab in the world is just in keeping with what YOU claimed was the "hallmark of the weak bullsh!t artist".
Wear your crown. Your crown of weak bullsh!t.
