Wake me up when we get a kid like Jordan Davis to actually sign here. Those type of kids are difference makers! And they usually go to the bag schools.

Just remember, the DE who killed us up front, last Saturday, sat on the bench on a loaded UGA team. So did Tyrique, fortunately. I don't think we could ever afford a Jim or Joe with that type of ability. This is where X&Os help out, which is Kiffins specialty.
 
I'd take a look at him if our top choices fall thru. I find it funny the same people who discredit Lannings recruiting because he's at uga will sing the praises of Mario who was at Bama and now Oregon when he has a whole coast to himself.

That’s why our next coach has to be a recruiter so he can lock down the elite local guys at a minimum
 
He’s not no fckin great recruiter, literally a mannequin could recruit 5-stars at UGA.

They’ve lead the nation in recruiting budget & spending for the last 5 years, they’ve spent nearly $20million on recruiting since 2017, none of their coaches are anything special. They literally buy talent.

Idk why people on this board think UGA has had some kinda new awakening & they’re now all of the sudden the pinnacle model to follow, all they’re doing is copying what Bama started doing 12 years ago, which was outspend the rest the nation & eventually you land enough talent to where you can go on a run.

If yall really want Miami to be like UGA, yall better hope the Columbus Mafia in the BOT is going to up the recruiting budget, because it’s gonna costs upwards of $15+mill in order to even get close to that, otherwise yall will find yourselves making Gods out of false idols & end up disappointed.

Some place may give him a shot. Vanderbilt, or a MAC school maybe. Not Miami. It's Mario or Kiffin. We are gonna get this hire right this time.
 
Miami should not be hiring 1st time HCs. I think we've learned our lesson. We should have the cache to steal more established P5 guys or G5 guys that have had sustained success.
