This crap isn’t limited to CFB fans, or even America in general. It’s a problem all over the world.

I guess you don’t remember the hate mail Hank Aaron got as he chased Babe Ruth’s record or the crap said about Ali. Sports merely reflect the society at large and this is and unfortunately will always be a racist nation. People feel really comfortable saying outlandish crap online because they think consequences won’t find them.

Keep in mind that person was an outright bigot that made his living bullying others. People got fired for saying they wouldn’t shed a tear for that person. This is a student athlete that has done absolutely nothing warranting this nonsense.

People do and say not only stupid but regrettable things while drunk or high but this seemed from the heart, something that was just inherently there and ugly af. This is a strange and disturbing level of hate.
 
If I need to smoke this bum out I will....I have the skills to air them out. Give me one hour and I can tell you everything about them, including what underwear they are currently wearing.

We live in a crazy world which continues to devolve. A really good friend of mine I met through my wife’s step dad is a big time FSU guy. Played baseball back in the day and always a good time to be around. By the time I got back to the hotel in Weston after the game, he had sent a text which was so revolting and disappointing that I decided to take the high road and move on from him. It included his description of Mario being a disgusting Cuban piece of **** and further going on to describe our fanbase as half “disgusting minorities”. Apparently was stupid enough to post something similar on social media.

Best of all was two weekends ago at a AAA hockey tournament my son was playing in and I was coaching at. My son, who’s 12, has long hair past his shoulders. Because of it he wears a Battle skull cap under his helmet to keep everything in place. After the game he told me a center on the other team, who was black, was chirping him saying he was a wanna be n***** and that white boys can’t be wearing that. Sure enough my wife looked up his instagram page and it’s nothing but racist bull**** his parents take part in as well.

Guess I just want to say take the high road, stay off social media, and out these ******* people as much as possible. We’re all created by God. Hope more people start to realize that.

I’ve avoided social media like the plague it has become. It has some value but that value comes at a cost. I only see social media posts when someone else posts them on here or a couple other sites. I’m not an ostrich and realize social media is here to stay but I choose not to participate as much as possible.

Hundreds of thousands of people got drunk this weekend watching football. I'm sure many of them were super upset when their teams lost, but 99% didn't take to their accounts and post vile stuff like this. I'm sure there were a few more that posted vile stuff like this that haven't been exposed yet, but majority of people are not like this Kade POS.

Its disgusting to me when fans message and harass players over a sport. Add in all the hate speech and threats here, and terrible.

Hope he receives jail time for that.

Whether it’s an old girlfriend trying to track me down, avoiding saying things I regret, or just the chaos of the world, I’ve never fallen into it and hope my kids do the same.

The most disgusting thing was seeing what was being spewed by that kid’s parents alongside of the kid on social media. Perpetuation of hatred based on people’s immutable qualities is not ok and never has been.
