damon wilson earned his check tonight

I mean, calling it his best game so far isn't exactly a flex. He was buns for 1.5 quarters and lightly toasted buns for the rest. He benefitted from the saftey blitzes we rand all second half.

At Mizzou, @ the Edge, he was asked to get the passer and nothing more. It played well into his strengths but hurt his development.

And here at UM, after 3 games, I see a DL who has no counters and doesn't set up his pass rush at all. He tries to peak over OL and once he's engaged, he doesn't seem interested in disengaging. WF was his best game but I dont think thats saying much

I think he needs some time with JT to really work on his craft. For what I have seen from Lightfoot this season, Im surprised 8 isn't on the field more.

Great post and agree. His pass rush ****nal is truly anemic.
 
He’s clearly still getting acclimated to the brutal grind of an ACC schedule. I need to remind myself to be patient with him since he came from a cupcake conference,
 
He was better but he gotta clean up the penalties and a couple of plays where he was loafing
