That's revenue share (universities) plus private NIL (collectives), but universities themselves are capped at $20.5M.

Did all of the universities through their conference sign off on this? If it was done that way, then it could be binding. Should this amount have come down from the NCAA, it might mean nothing besides see you in court. I don't recall what show it was, but while no names were mentioned, they said some schools are blowing well last this amount and they didn't think it was enforcible.

So who knows really.

Just want to add. This is capped across all sports. So baseball, basketball etc are included in that 20.5.

So football at most schools is looking at 12-15 range.
