The point is: fans can care deeply about the game on Monday and care about how well we’re positioned for next season. That's why lots of us on this board follow recruiting.

Personally, this Canes run has been incredible. I’ve gotten to share it with friends and family and made some lifelong memories.

Right now, because we sat out that opening weekend in the portal to avoid distractions before the Fiesta Bowl, we are the one with distractions before the National championship.

They set up their team for next season. Win or lose.
