Dammit Harbough too

If we haven't changed it yet we need to go back to the academic entry scores across the board that were in place before Donna brought her *** in and tried to make us Duke. This has hurt us more than anything the last 10-15 years! These kids can get in at all these other schools and we tell them they're not smart enough. This really turned off the South Florida community towards the school.

Rumph is an alum with pro experience. Has cut his teeth at the high school level and could benefit greatly from getting an IN at UM.
Could come in as recruiting co. and work up to DB coach. Those Heritage kids would immediately have UM at the top of their list. It would be mutually beneficial.

Gary and Walker don't go the same HS, and Partridge has been on that staff since last spring. Nothing here at all.
 
Gary is from Paramus Catholic... Walker is from DePaul Catholic. Different HS coaches lol...

You gotta have a competent DC first of all. Then, coordinators than can coach AND recruit.

OP corrected. Partridge coached Gary at Paramus Catholic when he was there, 25 min car ride to rival high school DePaul Catholic in Wayne where Walker plays.

We were just pointing out that what was posted was incorrect. Of course Partridge knows Gary, what's the point? You think moving him to LB coach from football ops changes anything either way? Not sure I or anyone else gets the point.

Well, it rewards him for getting kids to commit and incentivizes him to keep on the recruits.Also, keeps him at UMich and not OSU or Rutgers and keeps him happy with possibly a higher salary.
Points pretty clear. We need to do whatever it takes to get high end recruits including more winning and working connections in the recruiting game.
