Everything will set up well for us. Mario has an incredibly high close rate for a target when he gets the final OV.
Hopefully we can get the W and that locks up a few people. Have to imagine it will be a lot of visitors for that game.

Why in the world would Brown go to FSU?

Do legacy kids just hate going to Miami? Is it the AH stank rubbing off? Miami has early PT at CB available.

HIghlights:

-
What stood out to most about the visit was the overall atmosphere in his interactions with the coaching staff while in Tallahassee.
"Just the family-like atmosphere here," he responded regarding what stood out. "Everybody is genuine here. Stressing to me how they need me here. I'm a priority -- how I can help this program get to where they need to be."

- The environment of Doak Campbell Stadium stood out to Brown in his first game-day experience at FSU.

"With this being my first game here, it was a crazy experience," Brown said. "I could see myself here possibly. The fans were crazy. That'll be a big time factor for me playing -- to have the stadium filled with fans like that -- going crazy. It was a good experience."

-Head coach Mike Norvell and Brown met and spoke multiple times on the trip. Norvell delivered a strong message about how he would get the most out of Brown if he were to become a Seminole.

"Just from what Norvell was preaching to me -- how he can see me being out there on Saturdays and how I can help this program out and possibly go to the NFL one day with all of the help and things I would get here and how they would take me in with good care and work me," Brown explained of Norvell's message. "That's something that he stressed big is that I would be pushed here, very hard, and that they would get the best out of me."

-Brown says Hykeem Williams is in his ear about joining him at FSU. "He's telling me to come on and join him. Everytime he sees me, that's what he's been telling me. Tells me to stop playing and commit. We'll see but I know Hykeem, he'll work me everyday. That would be a good way for me to put my work out on the practice field."

-The 'Noles sit in a good spot in Brown's recruitment following this visit, he says. He has another official visit left to take until he goes into decision-making mode. "I'm at pretty good spot with them. Still have another official visit left. So just going to weight all of my pros and cons out and see how it goes."

Brown will take an OV to Miami for the FSU game on Nov. 5th. He said a decision could come later in November.
F- Hykeem....Sick and tired about his ***....

Our legacy kids must not like their parents very much.

About an hour drive to get from Plantation to Coral Gables with traffic. How far they need to get away?
I understand they may want to get away from their parents but also lots of these kids have the handlers and blood sucking leeches they want to escape from. Can't blame them but we pay Mario 8 milly per year to overcome those objections.

you still hearing we r in a good spot with Brown even though Ivins thinks its FSU?
I said “I hoped his recruitment remained quiet because that‘s a positive“. That was last month. I haven‘t been following recruiting much during the season but I was told two weeks ago no decision had been made. Fsu’s fast start to the season probably helped them but it’s a long season. Hopefully they keep losing .

they'll keep losing but they looked more competitive than I expected during this stretch

I can sadly imagine Damari and Bain leaving us in their dust as they run out of town.

Hopefully not but I feel we need a good streak and beat FSU before that Clemson game.

Reading the tea leaves: Brown likes “the crowd at games.” Bain likes “college towns.”

And of course don't forget FSU has a losing streak = no effect whatsoever on their recruiting efforts vs us losing a game = no thanks & the U is trash

Addae fall has to be one of the faster ones. Wasn't he the defensive coach that had a bright future and was supposedly not staying long. Guess the not staying long was probably right for the opposite reason.
