Dam, now Shavar Manuel to Noles

I remember seeing Shavar play youth football in Tampa for Sulphur Springs Cowboys. Kid was an animal then. Not much has changed. Long way until Feb2016

Is it his Aunt originally from the bottom?

Also, how is LSU out when Shavar said he wanted to attend LSU's Junior Day but a "mix-up on the dates" had him headed elsewhere?

FSu is scrambling due to our fast start they are needing their trolls to commit and keep up

No need for anyone to scramble none of these commitments mean anything to any school until Feb 2016

Lol. Seriously just lol

You saying that these commitments mean nothing to these schools until February 2016 is a joke. It really is. It's one thing for some of these South Florida divas, your nephew included, who don't know what the definition of character and commitment is, but for other players and programs around the country they don't have to deal with this whole "commitments don't mean anything until signing day" bull****.

I know it is shocking, but a lot of top athletes around the country actually appreciate these offers and opportunities to showcase their talents and further their education at some of the top schools in the country. It isn't just some game to them where they wake up every morning and switch their commitments based on which side of the bed they woke up in. I guess it comes to show why these kids are like this, especially when people in their lives (family members) are saying themselves that commitments don't mean anything until singing day. Here's an idea, help your nephew understand what its like to be a humble, hardworking individual who honors his commitment and leaves the drama at the door. Maybe you could reach out to Shaq Quarterman's dad for some advice on the subject

Shavar is far from being a south florida diva, if you ever met Shavar you would know he is one of the most humble kids you have ever met, and he definitely will honor his commitment to whoever he commits and i have told him several times that we don't want him to be one of those guys that commits 3 or 4 times to different schools and that is why he is taking his time and most likely won't announce his decision until signing day.

Shavar doesnt have Facebook, twitter, or any social media accounts he would much rather just be left alone and just make a decision quietly.

Most players I have talked to would much rather not have to deal with the recruiting process (100+ pieces of mail a day, coaches call & texting you continuously, reporters harping on everything you do, fans tweeting and harassing you all the time, etc....) and just be able to enjoy school, play football and make a decision quietly, but unfortunately recruiting has turned into big business and a lot of grown men are eating off the backs of this 17 and 18 year old kids with all their fake stories and inside info they make up for clicks and subs.

I understand the passion fans have for their teams and we as a family know this is a great blessing and opportunity for Shavar that we are not taking for granted, but i feel fans sometimes don't understand how hard it is for some of these guys have to deal with this circus that recruiting has turned into it can be a lot to deal with for a 17 year old.
Agree 100 percent...

Looks like another defensive end jordan woods is commiting to fsu. They already have three 5 stars at the position. Whos going to get played is the question? Fsu degree aint worth the paper its written on. Make the right choice. Havent heard much of mario edwards the #1 player overall out of highschool. Seen mocks having him in the 4th round. Fsu only has 1 defensive end in the nfl. Tank caradine and he going to be fighting for a roster spot. All those 5 star dreams out the window. Sick man sick shame

Thats funny i wonder why multiple people all of a sudden at the same time Crystal balled him to lsu

One person cb him to LSU what are you talking about

Ah, LSU pay site had Shavar "visiting LSU" along with Savion Smith from IMG (who committed to LSU today after he was only supposed to name a top 5) and one can imagine when that didn't occur, that pay site had him on a mix up of dates, having him visiting elsewhere. I doubt Shavar was on any other campus for that aforementioned weekend/date. Yet, that pay site generated untold buzz with Shavar "visit" announcement.

Has our new Dline coach Melvin Brown talked to him?

Not yet

Coach Baez and Coach Brown have been recent
Coach Scott reached out when he thought Shavar committed to FSU

Melvin hasn't talked to Manuel and still hasn't offered either Keir Thomas or Aaron Thompson.

Golden's newest Temple buddy is off to a predictably rousing start.

Yea cause a guy on the job for a week deciedes who we do and dont offer. GTFOOH. Why do you miserable mopes even read the forums.
