Heard he couldn't finish the game vs. Wake yesterday. Listed as day to day. If he misses the game next weekend, F$U will have to play with Patrick (3rd string RB) since Pender is also out

Watch Golson have career day similar to Logan Thomas and we get throttled by an average ACC opponent.

They don't need Cook.

Alfredo's vanilla Wefense makes all backs and QB's look like Hall-of-Famers.

Jimbo is an average OC. He's too conservative unless he takes some risk, this game is in our favor. It's a rivalry game. Everything is out the window.

Cook won't be a factor if he's gimpy. Someone on the D needs to step up & plant Gohlson into the turf right out of the gate. :schuss:

You forget that gap control is the only thing that matters sacks and TFL will not be tolerated.

Coley sucks as an OC. So the game is in our favor because FSU has an average OC but our horrible OC isn't a liability?

Are you also forgetting who our DC is?

This will be an ugly game. Think of the 2006-2008 games when both teams sucked really bad. This will be ugly football all around.

I think UM will punish FSU and we look great.

Then Al Golden will Al Golden and drop games to the likes of Duke, V Tech, Pitt and look terrible doing it.

I will say this for Al. It is now or never. This is his last shot to prove us wrong. He has a prime time game with FSU and another with Clemson. When those and finish strong and no one will remember Cincy

How many times have you given your cheating girlfriend another chance?

Just dump her buddy, she's a no good *****

I thought they just decided to keep him out because they were playing wake Forrest. He should be fine next week.

Keep in mind that Jermaine Grace is *likely* out for this game as well. Given that, I expect Cook's backup to look like....

well...

a freshman QB making his first start on national TV against a team that had a bye week to prepare for him. lol

We got beat by the system, dude (i.e., better coaching). Cincy went for 750 on the road against a ranked team the prior week with the same QB.

Supercuckold85,

The only person who still thinks Golden can prove anyone wrong is you.

Gap control is in every defense. U cant rush the passer every down without honoring the run.

Just because u play in one gap and penetrate doesn't mean run straight up the field.

U know what happens on 1st and second down when a teams shoots straight up the field? U get gashed by draw plays, trap plays, wham plays.

Not to mention there is still a 300 LB dude pushing against U.

Our defenses used to look good because we had FIRST DAY DRAFT TALENT **** near across the board.

Besides this bad scheme on defense guys still have to beat their man in OBVIOUS passing situations
