dalvin cook interview today

We lose the two best players in South Florida 2 years in a row to FSU.....:ohlord:

Back up. Chad is the best player in So FL this year. Cook is fantastic but Chad goes higher in the draft 3 years from now. Cook is one of three top backs. Chad is in class of his own. Sure is is exciting to think about Cook in this class, but remember, we already stole FSU's rb back from this class-- Joe Yearby. UF stole Cook from Clemson and now FSU is trying to steal him from the gator.

The 2014 class is off the hook with or without Cook, Lane or anyone else we don't have. Joe and Brandon with Duke is one heck of a combo. FSU is probably losing most of their RBs and WRs this year. We CA state champion QB joining some serious weapons plus defensive and offensive line recruits that are among the best in country. Do I want Cook, sure but I want Fournette even more. BUT Yearby and Powell are going to tear up defenses for three or four years. Everyone new we add to this class now, probably cost us someone already in it. It that case, I want more D more than I want ANOTHER All Star RB. That said, come on Cook, is there anything better than coming on the NFL intro and saying "Dalvin Cook, THE U!"

Sounds like a good kid. Hope he stays home with his boy Yearby. Them splitting 15-20 carries each per game would be awesome. But you can't make someone choose you, Golden did what he could.

To me that interview was a let down, it was hyped up like I would know he was picking FSU. After listening I am still just as confused, don't think he tipped his hat either way really.

It looks eerily similar to the recruitment of Tracy Howard 2 years ago. Somewhat similar to Stacey Coley's recruitment last year. All the so called experts were wrong when they kept insisting we did not have a chance . Maybe something happened in the visit Golden and staff made to Dalvin a couple of weeks ago, where he found out how much we wanted him. Just a thought.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think people on this board at least were WAY more optimistic about landing Coley and Howard than they are now with Cook.

/not like it means a **** thing

Coley maybe, but Howard? He never really showed interest in Miami until very late the in the process after a home visit by Golden.

We had some momentum going into TH3's commitment. Doesn't seem to be any momentum here.

LOL man no one on earth thought Tracy would come to Miami, but it picked up a couple days before he commited. With Cook, there seems to be no indication that he is picking Miami. I personally think he will remain a Gator. However, 1 week after Cook visited he told reporters that he knew forsure what school he would go to and said he decided 1 week ago (after the UM visit), but than again, tells a reporter that him and Yerby have played their last game together. Still think he is sticking with Florida.

That was you, I was just out of Miramar at that time and early in December I found out from friends close to him that he was going to UM because his mom was really convinceing him

Once Howard took the visit to UM, most people started predicting him to pick UM. That isn't the case with Cook. We've had an in-home, had him take a visit, and most people predict FSU.
