Not necessarily best, but the most electric player on the defensive side of the ball.

Hard to not pick Sean Taylor as many have, but thought I would throw another name in the discussion.

Jerome Brown---he was the only DT I saw who could get off the line and have the o lineman whiff, or he he could bowl over the guy. Jerome's option.

ER20 and ST26 are neck and neck. My line of sight was dead on for the ST hit on PK Sam in the 2002 FSU game at the OB and it's still one of the best hits I've seen in person. And if replay was around then it would have definitely been ruled a fumble and we wouldn't have had to sweat out another missed FG.

I gotta go with ST26 because you knew when you needed a big play or hit that he was going to come through, it was always exciting to see what he was going to do.

Hold on @DMoney, this is a devious question.

We legitimately can’t agree on who is the best; DE, DT, ILB, OLB, Safety, WR, RB, QB, OT, OG, Center, and yet you want to know which single player was the most dynamic ever?

The only position I could argue at which we can MAYBE agree on the best ever is CB, and that is mostly because UM has rarely had great CB’s. And even then you could have debate (I would argue for Antrel Rolle)
