@Rellyrell's allegiance to Nike is the stuff of legends. Can you imagine RellyRell if Rad throws a curve ball and signs a deal with Puma or New Balance?

Appreciate the love, & I really do try to add value to the board.
Now u mofos, allow me to clear the air w/ Nike:
As
@RVACane knows, my father was a marathon runner, Adidas f’d his foot up. Switched to Nikes & he never went back. (My 1st experience).
My 2nd experience: My high school was in dire need of a sponsor. We had Karl Kani as a sponsor, which wasn’t even a sports brand. Adidas & Reebok literally wasn’t interested. B/c Lisa Leslie & Tina Thompson were both alums & Nike athletes, Nike came through for us, including helping us repave our ridiculously cracked outside courts.
That’s the personal reason. Here’s the business reason:
I understand the power of branding, and marketing. I fully understand Nike’s business model, & why it’s so successful. It’s why, looking at the top 50 athletes in earnings, 44% r represented by Nike/Jordan while 20% is represented by Adidas. When LB Poly went back to Nike, they said we’re not an underdog brand so we’re not going to be w/ an underdog company. When UTenn took less upfront money to leave Adidas, it was stated they saw the branding benefits.
As a Miami Hurricanes fanatic, I want us w/ the best, & b/c of the marketing, branding, NIL opportunities, & merchandise sales in which we’ll benefit from, Nike is the right choice. If Adidas was the best, I would want us w/ Adidas; but,
1. Adidas is not the best, & all the data whether it’s from consumers, brand rankings, or apparel rankings back this up.
2. Adidas & injuries are becoming increasingly synonymous with each other.
3. Adidas have already proven to be an untrustworthy partner. So far we’ve been apart of a FBI probe which hurt recruiting, they immediately reneged on the conditions of our flag ship status in the ACC, & given other schools NIL opportunities over us even though we signed in 2015.
These r the reasons I’m adamant about switching. I see big picture in everything vs. myopic views.
