2. Eric Turner, S, UCLA (2 Pro Bowls, 105 NFL starts)
3. Bruce Pickens, CB, Nebraska (0 Pro Bowls, 12 NFL starts)
4. Mike Croel, LB, Nebraska (NFL defensive Rookie of the Year, 0 Pro Bowls, 84 NFL starts)
5. Todd Lyght, CB, Notre Dame (1 Pro Bowl, 167 NFL starts)

The only Pro Football Hall of Famers from '91 draft are Brett Favre (2nd round) and Aeneas Williams (3rd round)

While that would make for the stuff of legends, I'm thinking it is a tall tale.

What is true is that Big Vince held The County's shotput record.

What is also true is that Devin H had 1000 yards receiving and 1000 yards rushing and several picks as a safety and threw several touchdown passes and punted the ball several times and returned punts as a high school senior. He was also a great 400m guy in track.

What I said was Jimmy had a lot to do with him going #1. That’s 100% true. I didn’t say he wasn’t a good player. I didn’t say he wouldn’t have been a top 5 pick. Don’t forget Jimmy used a supplemental pick to draft Steve Walsh. They essentially traded their 1990 first round draft pick, which would have been #1 overall to draft Walsh when they already had Troy Aikman. Jimmy was very loyal to his guys and it paid off with Super Bowl trophies for the Cowboys.
