I think Brown is going to get picked on quite a bit. I'm intrigued to see what he can do, he's the guy that is going to be tested at first.

I think Dyoni Hill can play. He can be a draftable player in his own right with a strong season. I think he plays up.

Still...the unit has guys that are going to give up some plays. It'll be frustrating at times. Hope the pressure gets home fast.

Wouldn't shock me if there are plenty of games Richard plays a ton because of a matchup and he plays well in those games.

Fully agree on Brown being picked. Can he cover and have enough speed?
 
Porter. Brown at Nickel.

I think Brown is likely our best option at Nickel. Hopefully he is willing to play there. Porter at Field and then Hill and Richard battle for Boundary.
 
None of these CBs played as well as a freshman as Brown did. Brown had a solid freshman year and he has measurables. Brown can be a future NFL corner. Hill has potential too. Porter is improving and will have another solid year. Richard will be the 4th corner

Porter and Hill by a good margin.

We will see what Damari develops into but i have no idea how yall are saying he is top2 based on what is on film.. and if he is then we are in big trouble lol

Porter and D. Hill will be the starting corners, with Brown battling with Richard for the Nickel/Star.

Unfortunately for Brown, he’s always hurt or looking to leave the program for some reason or another. He’s more preoccupied with getting paid than getting on the field.

The talent at DB is not what you want, but good enough that Brown has to get on the field or he’ll be TOLD to seek higher ground.
 
DP if he can repeat or even enhance really good play from last year.

Damari if projections hold from end of the spring.

I know Richard seems up and down from practice reports, but the guy really stepped up in that Nolie game.

Playing against X, Jacolby, Sam Brown and CAM WARD every day has to help. I expect corner to be strong this year.

I think the DB room will be better than we think. Elite? No. But definitely a solid group within the ACC.

We talk a lot about allowing guys room to grow and develop versus hitting the portal. This year we will see how it goes with the DB group. Porter is #1. I think Hill, Damari, and Richard are all serviceable at worst. Looking for Damari to take a jump.

Plenty of other teams out there with less talent recruit rankings wise with solid DB groups. Time for our guys like Damari to show why they were highly sought after recruits.
