DAILY DEBATE: Which matchup are you watching in the USF game?

Defense vs the run game, and staying disciplined enough to contain both the RB and QB runs. That had been a major issue in past years, and this will be our biggest test thus far this season. USF has the #8 rushing offense in the nation despite having played Bama as one of their 3 games.
They ran for 206 yards on 46 attempts against Bama. They had 2 long runs of 20 and 19 yards. Not exactly a strong running attack.

Hammer to the fly. Start fast and put their run game up early. Don’t let them hang around , that’s where trouble starts. Confidence is a powerful thing.
This. We can't ***** around with them. Put them away early/ASAP! Bring it from the opening kickoff.

USF Barstool vs @TrumpyCane: USF Barstool has been talking a lot of ****. Trolling our team. Trolling the fans. Trolling the stadium. Bragging about having their upper deck become open. After our W, I'm excited to see what Trumpy has in store.
@TrumpyCane needs to keep us informed. I'm making Bloody Marys on Sunday morning so I can sit out on the front porch and scroll through the glorious Nole tears and maybe even some Gator tears if Miss St pulls their head out of their ***.

The key matchup for me is our 1st down defense vs. their offense.
Get them behind the chains and watch them struggle.

USF vs -17.5: In years past, this game would scare me. However, we have the better athletes & players that make me feel more confident in being able to stop Brown. Our team also has better leaders than previous teams so I don't fear our team not being focused.

I’m actually taking the -17.5 plus the USF team total under, this team has proven every preconceived notion that Miami has had over the last ten years wrong and I’m finally ready to trust em with my money

The USF Linebackers Coach vs. the unemployment line...

Randy Shannon needs a landing spot...

Off Topic, but hey, this is CIS, and more interesting than steak and sandwich shop talk...

I just checked out Randy Shannon's salary at FSU. He's making 50K more than Dugans and 50K less than Surtain. That's got to be so humiliating after his career. He doesn't need the money. Why doesn't he just retire?

"LB Randy ShannonShannon's annual salary is expected to be $650,000 in 2024 (beginning in March) and $675,000 in 2025. He had a base salary of $200,000 in his initial contract, and will make an additional $450,000 in 2024 and $475,000 in 2025 per the contract amendment. He received a signing bonus of $15,000"
