simple little reception he had, but man does that kid look smooth. Moves differentJoJo flashed. He will be a problem.
Winner,Winner,Chicken DinnerFor me it was this one. But they scanned the sections so quickly it was hard for me to be sure View attachment 303583
I think I’m gonna go all season without actually seeing OJ play. It’s a shame really. That's the craziest thing to me. The fact that I rarely get to see him try to make a play stands out.
The great ones make it look easy.simple little reception he had, but man does that kid look smooth. Moves different
Idk about air raid offense, they have twice as many rush yards as they do passingOJ is looking good so far but will be tested against that Air Raid offense this Saturday. His legend will only grow if he plays well.
Blount has no reason to leave. Why? He will be in the 2 deep next year either at DE or DT or both and will be a starter by his Jr year. He will be a super stud. In two years I can absolutely see our starting front 4 being Blount-Scott-Jones-Lightfoot...thats national title level right there if they all develop like we think they will.
Scott is as advertised. Hes a 5* and is playing like it. Glad we stole that guy from OSU.
Who said anything about Blount leaving?OJ is looking good so far but will be tested against that Air Raid offense this Saturday. His legend will only grow if he plays well.

He's a young DP2 gonna be erasing his side of the field soonI think I’m gonna go all season without actually seeing OJ play. It’s a shame really.
Just joking of course. Very impressed with him.
Even with SJ?55 is a future starting center here

Speed too!Lyles vision and balance is very very impressive for a freshman
Competition friend.Even with SJ?
Big #18 Armondo Blount. Kid is only a 17 year old, playing like a grown man. I can't wait to see him in the NFL at 21.
I have been talking up Lyle for months now. This guy can be special.I think what I’m most impressed about, is Lyle’s speed. I didn’t think he had speed like that. I didn’t pay much attention to him in high school because we had the running back from Alabama committed who I know is also a speed guy and when he decommitted, I was a little bummed out because I knew we needed more speed in the backfield. But then we flipped Lyle and I saw that on3 had him as their number one back and that peaked my interest a little more and then seeing him run the fastest time in college football on that breakaway run He had hitting almost 22 miles an hour and I was blown away! Clearly he has game breaking speed and I guess my question is, did anyone else know he had that kind of speed coming out of high school? Just curious because like I said, I didn’t pay much attention to him in high school. For what it’s worth, I think he might be the most talented back on our roster.
There seems to be a debate on this board that behind Martinez, there is not a single back on the roster, that is healthy, that can be a playmaker.
In my opinion Jordan Lyle will be the 2nd best RB on this roster and that’s including a healthy Mark Fletcher. As a senior, he ran for 1,376 and 21 TDs on 10.6 yards per carry, while catching 13 passes for 177 yards and 1 TD, against very good competition. Coming in at 6-0 205 he has more than enough size to handle physicality of this level of football.
On3 #1 RB in the class of 2024 https://x.com/On3Recruits/status/1752482008716976144
In his senior highlights, you see a back with great vision, amazing balance, game breaking speed, and a physical running style who never goes down on first contact.https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15321847/657a65907bdd2a0bfcd4e9e9
Look at the balance
Runs the DB over then runs away from the rest of the team
Lyle is a beast

For sure, man and honestly, I think he’s better than Martinez. And it’s that explosive breakaway speed that he has, why I think he’s the best back on our team. he brings everything else too, size, vision, and balance but it’s that speed for me. Definitely want to see more and more of him in the second half of the season.I have been talking up Lyle for months now. This guy can be special.
