I think there's a real chance of a deep pass for the first play - i's in Dawson's DNA.We all know what the first (and probably the 2nd) plays of the game on offense will be.
We are in denial if not.
The only debate is if they dress it up with some pre-snap motion or trickery. But the first 2 plays are going up the *** of the OL.
JayPain, take it easy on us. We're one drink of Kool-Aid from forgetting the painful past. Let us BELIEVE....haha.Condensed bunch formation in the i. Ward under center, Lofton at FB, Martinez at HB. McCormick in line TE to the left and Samson playing as TE also on the line of scrimmage to the right. X slightly offset in the slot to the right of the formation. X motions in closer to the LOS.
Long drawn out handoff to Martinez. Lofton lead blocking, McCormick and the LG pulling. Martinez following his cavalry of blockers.
McCormick misses a chip block on the LB and works up the 3rd level of the defense and the LB he missed his chip block on sheds of the block by Mauigoa and makes tackle for a 2 yard gain.
Mass substitution. Leave in McCormick and pull Samson, and Lofton. George and Horton sub in. and Huddle and wait for Horton to run the play in from the sideline. Runs the play clock down to about 2-3 seconds before the next play. IZ handoff for 3 yards.
3rd and 5 now. Same personnel on the field. McCormick shifts over to the field side of the formation in line. Playclock down to 6, Ward in the gun. George jet motions and the ball is snapped. Low snap leads to a late and wobbly throw to Horton on the come back tunnel screen. McCormick falls down on the block and Horton trips over him for a 4 yard gain. 4th and 1 and the punt team comes out on the field.
McCormick chooses to double block one guy coming after the punter and lets the 2nd guy free and clear who gets a finger on it. Florida takes over at their own 45.
I'd love to recreate Utah's first play last year.I think there's a real chance of a deep pass for the first play - i's in Dawson's DNA.
Would be fune to see them fall for the same play as last year against Utah.Fake run and Pass deep to Sam Brown for a TD … shut the **** of that ******* cesspool swamp up
First play of bowl game was a long pass. Dawson.I'd love to recreate Utah's first play last year.
Probably going to be an RPO and dictated by what Florida does on defense. More trust in Cam to start off like that.
Their DL doesn't come at teams like that very often and they're not built to do it.. so probably going to be an RPO and their conflict defender holding and being conservative early for them will result in a handoff.
So do they. Now imagine Martinez gets through the 8 man box they'll present. We all know what the first (and probably the 2nd) plays of the game on offense will be.

Been asking since richt.. lol.. McDaniels is down the street.. no excuses not to add one of biggest trend in offensive football in last few years..George on orbit motion to the field and then counter to the boundary.
Plant the seed early for the fake jet/orbit motion that turns into a run fake and bubble screen back to the boundary (from 4th quarter in A&M game last year)
I want to see a lot more eye candy, motions, switches, etc. this year.
