Miami physically dominated ND on both sides of the ball, we didn’t turn the ball over, we had zero boneheaded plays, and yet somehow it still came down to a low percentage FG to win the game. It should have been a blowout based on how we owned the LOS. I am going to chalk that up as Cristobal wanting to play it safe after taking a lead.
Miami SHOULD dominate this USF. More than that , the game should be an absolute beatdown to the point where pundits say, “Yikes, maybe UF and Boise St are truly awful.” We are superior in every facet of the game. The physical difference is what you would expect from a championship caliber P4 team and a very good G5.
Our old archnemesis, Bobby Bowden, put it best. “First you lose big, then you lose close, then you win close, then you win big.”
This has been our exact trajectory, year by year. This is the year we win big.
