DB for sure from a personnel perspective. Not even close. We are slow in the secondary.

Honestly I have no idea since the portal changes everything.
Last year it was QB, LB and DB IMHO.

First game will tell me a lot.

Mentioned above - but until proven otherwise, the secondary scares the F out of me - specifically the safety position. Even if we put up points the way we all expect to given our offensive firepower, I don't think any game will be comfortable due to the potential for a quick strike from the opposition - until such time as somebody steps up and proves that our secondary is to be feared.

And yes - coaching and game management. My personal hope is that a seasoned, veteran leader like Cam Ward will help mitigate the tomfoolery we have witnessed recently in this regard. But it's a bit of a WTF to be hoping that a player can cover up coaching ineptitude.

Secondary issue is depth. Starting 5 w meesh Damari porter richard should be more than solid ..

DB and I still have questions on Oline.. Can we replace the two interior guys and tho the numbers look good, we went max protect against 3 man rush last year.. You want to be elite I cant respect that.. 3 man rush max protect is nasty work..

How good is carpenter? DT rotation? Consistent run game vs acc? Situational football improvements(coaching)

The Gator game will tell us a lot !

They are, on paper, perhaps the most talented team we have on the schedule.

If the Gates had our Schedule they would be favored in every game except perhaps FSU and maybe @louisville.

We beat UF and expectations will justifiably be elevated.
