DAILY DEBATE: What is the biggest weakness on the team?

Seriously?? With our secondary?
Yea if Zach goes down we ****ed imo or if he can’t perform. Snapping the ball and things like that. That’s a solo thing where as the backend going to be helped by the front 7. At least the secondary has those guys in front of them. Pause

If they went in the portal for a center man that tells you all you need to know.

DB and I still have questions on Oline.. Can we replace the two interior guys and tho the numbers look good, we went max protect against 3 man rush last year.. You want to be elite I cant respect that.. 3 man rush max protect is nasty work..
Always felt our line was a bit overrated. And we lost two veterans. We were good. But not Joe Moore contenders

Game day coaching until proven otherwise. Recruiting is off the chain, but until that talent is correctly used to win games it doesn't matter. Tired of winning off-season national championships...time to get back to winning games and flaunting it in the face of our opponents

Winning/finishing games.

So it falls on everyone players and coaches.

7pt-14pt hard fought wins over average teams need to turn into games where we impose our will late and pull away.

The worst 3-4 teams on our schedule should be put away by halftime so we can play young guys and get the game exposure.

The top 3-4 team on our schedule we need to not put ourselves in early deficits, don’t lose turnover battles 4-0 so we kick ourselves when we lose, and go for it at times. Whether that’s a bomb on 3rd and 15 in our own territory, 4th and 3 on goal, etc. expect to get it or know if you don’t you’ll get it back quick.

Not fake corny swag. Just downright confidence.

This is a great point -- people say a win is a win. But in college football, point disparity tells you a lot about a team(just how good they are) and how well coached it is

And how you play in terms of tempo, play-calling, etc, will play a role in if you either eke out games, or just flat out squash teams.

Ill say it again, this is the year that Mario has to be be a guy who airs it out a bit and dictates to Dawson that he can come out swinging, early and often. Score early, put teams in a one-dimensional mode - and let your front four play downhill for a full quarter-plus.

That's a form of complimentary football

Forget establishing the run -- establish points early and often. For this team to be what we want, it has to be near(or above) 40 points a game on average this season

Lack of a real identity. Every top team has one; Georgia is athletic, OSU almost always has a great OL and receiver(s), Alabama is disciplined, Michigan is physical, etc.

Excellent logic. OK I'm on board with that.

Coaching until proven otherwise. Team has been DogPOOP with turnovers and penalties the last two seasons. Get that under control and this team put together with all the talent it has should be in the playoffs or just outside of it...
I can coach over and over again not to throw the ball 🏈 into the defenders hands but if you are incapable, All my talking is for ****.

If I don’t see RB screens and creative ways to open the TE passing game I’m going to scream. Also, seeing us run 3 receivers when they’re dropping 8 doesn’t help a QB. I hope Dawson learned from last year. He has a lot to prove!

Nervous af about safety and DT but Guidry is the best coach on the team and his defenses always improve in year two.

But If theres a couple injuries at DT I don't know what the heck we're going to do. Those freshman wont be ready.
