DAILY DEBATE: What is FSU’s final record this year?

Remember in 2017 when they said FSU Bama would be in the title game regardless of who won the week 1 matchup because they were the two most talented teams in the country. FSU loses 1 guy and suddenly the narrative was Jimbo left the roster barren. Well this is worse because FSU doesn't lose anyone.

Haven't seen schedule..don't care, other than 1. Looked like a middle of the pack 'any given Saturday' team. Jackets too. They deserve credit & Keys has clearly lifted them.

The Orange Bowl showed that this team will mail it in once they have nothing left to play for. The talent level is 8-4 but they will drop a few late in the year that they really should win. Maybe we’re the team to break them in October

I think this team will fight for bowl eligibility, mainly because DJU is a streaky passer and Miami fans know how defenses play inconsistent game managers. That, and their defense didn't look particularly dominant.
 
I had them at 8-4 but who knows ... if the players don't stick together and there is infighting ... could end up 7-5. No invite to the P2.

Adding in a few more bum schools into the conference watered the schedules down even more. They're horrible.

As much as FSU might be a 5 loss team these conference schedules might not allow for it.

My thing is some of these wins that should be almost guaranteed on paper become real close games on the field when your qb is that limited and u don’t always win those in cfb, especially the acc
 
8-4 with all 4 losses being pretty close. They will then lose a bowl game to an inferior team in a meaningless 2nd tier bowl.(sun bowl) to finish 8-5. Then an off season that will likely define who Norvell truly is.

They will have an ok high school class but he will attempt to portal heavy again because he will have juniors who leave who shouldn’t. Then some guys transfer and instead investing in this years freshman and next years class and beginning to rely on current sophs who will be juniors they will see the massive holes in their roster.
 
They looked pretty terrible offensively yesterday but I’m hesitant to just assume they’re going to suck that bad the whole season. They could win anywhere from 6-9 games this year. Or ****, maybe they’ll be even worse. We can only hope.

They can give FSU a run for their money the same way ULM did in 2019 & Jax ST did in 2021.

That's not a guaranteed W like some might assume.

Agreed and ****t haynes king was running like josh allen on them, does bc still have that same qb? He might go crazy too
 
The Monday night game vs BC just became SUPER important for FSU. Lose that one and they might lose the team.

UF L

If they blow one to BC, UNC, Duke, Cal or SMU, it will get very ugly in Tallahassee. They could end up 6-6.

Another issue from yesterday now turns to 2 games which should have been wins into question marks.

Will they be able to stop Jadyn Ott and Omarion Hampton? UNC and Cal games got a whole lot more interesting now.

The tough games: ND, Clemson, UF and US
