Yearby doing all the work and Cook reaping off his work to get TDs.

Yearby is that guy, BEAST!

part of it...

Yearby puts the D on its heals and once they start to over commit, they'll hit them with a counter to Cook that will bust a week side long run

They're both monsters and cant see them not wanting to continue what they have going into college....

Not true at all. Both are great players and the season has just begun.

Actually Yearby has had 2 long runs to inside the 5 that Cook got an easy TD on the next play

Not true at all. Cook is just more explosive and more likely to hit a home run. As a result of that he has more touchdowns at this moment.

Cook also doesn't have Yearby's vision or between the tackles running ability, so he is more prone for the big play and less prone for the methodical effective drive down the field. So, the coaching staff for Central seems to pick their moments with Cook and regularly utilize Yearby to keep the offense moving. Same **** as with Spiller at Clemson, Spiller with the Bills.

Those numbers are basically similar according to the ypc.. Cook only has less carries for ONE reason ... He plays both ways and Yearby doesn't.

I agree to an extent, but if you watched the game they use them as a 1-2 punch. It's not Yearby 50 yards down then cook with a goaline carry every time. For example, Yearby picked up about: 7,5,-2 on consecutive carries at around their own 40. Then Cook gets 13 to the outside. Yearby with 4/5, Cook -3 on a reverse, then Cook 6 to the outside. Pass play, then back to yearby.

Yearby is used to get them down the field and for in between the tackles runs (which he is way better the cook atm), but to say Yearby does all the work and Cook just feeds off that is invalid. Cook has proven when he gets to the outside it could be a home run at anytime. Which is part of the reason he currently has more tds than Yearby.

Cook also does all returns and starts safety for central. For the purpose of winning games, it makes no sense for Cook/Yearby load to be 50/50.

Agreed. But I wasn't saying that at all, and if you are arguing against that, then it is your own straw man. Cook is prone to bust a big one at any time. Cook is also prone to more 3 and outs if he is the only RB. That is why they compliment each other so **** well.

I don't buy that the only reason Yearby gets more carries is because Cook plays D. Stylistically, the blend of their 2 styles work best like this IMO

Still not sure why there is such a line drawn in the sand over these two. They are both great high school running backs with bright futures ahead of them. The over-analyzing is absurd.
