Dabo: "This isn't middle school"

Rumor is that Dabo promised SUnshine he would start to get him there. So people are saying he wouldve started no matter how well Bryant performed. Doesnt matter less depth this is a good thing for Miami

Props for the Remember The Titans reference. Parts of that movie was shot at my high school during my senior year. The drama class actually got to meet Denzel.

Trevor Lawrence is elite. Now Clemson can actually hang with Bama (w Bryant there was no shot).

I agree, friend.

This was a no win situation.

Hopefully the young man lands on his feet.

If football doesn’t work out, perhaps he can do a bit of modeling. He’s quite attractive.

LMAO! Being a d*ck is so effortless for you. Amazing.
There’s nothing *** about saying another man is handsome.

There's nothing straight about it, either.

Kelly Bryant is a Senior that's more than capable of leading their team to where they want to go.... trusting a true freshman to win doesn't normally turn out well.

The smart move wouldve been to play Lawrence for four games and allow him to play as a back up the rest of the season knowing he's going to be the clear starter next year. He's not going to do **** this year that Bryant wouldnt have been able to do especially when it's time to play us in the ACCCG.

The decision to tell Bryant, a Senior that is a star caliber QB, that he's benched looks bad imo and when Clemson gets destroyed by us in the ACC.. Dabo is going to have a lot of questions to answer.

I think we as straight men need to get over the stigma of what’s “***” and what’s not.

Every time I see my best friend Kenneth I greet him with a warm, deep, long lasting hug.

And there’s nothing *** about it!

I've watched the 2 play in games and even with that limited evidence it looks like Lawrence is better even now. The staff has seen a lot more than I have. Why are you so mad? What's a coach supposed to do, keep the better guy off the field when he could get a season's worth of experience? They are a playoff team and have to make those kind of decisions to have the best shot in January.
not disagreeing but our coach kept the better QB on the bench and let us get embarrassed by LSU, i guarantee Perry would have done much better than Rosier. It is very possible we could be unbeatin and in the top 10 right now, Dabo just has a much bigger sack than Richt has, and if not for Bama would prolly have another ring or two

The new redshirting rule, which allows someone to play up to 4 games, changes the transfer game. Auburn has been hit hard this year, any player that after 4 games doesn't feel that they are getting playing time or a fair opportunity will transfer. These are kids that truly believe that they will make it to the NFL and the coach is costing them money.

An astute coach has to give playing time to the true freshman to build up experience while keeping an eye on juniors and seniors to avoid their departure. Its a good rule but it also complicates life and playing time.

Dias is just playing everyone this year in waves, which is fine as long as you don't do it with top tier teams like LSU.

I like that Manny is doing that, its smart, although you have to be careful and pick and choose your spots. If i'm not mistaken on that long TD run v LSU he had the whole stating LB corps on the bench, and i think had a blitz called from the edge, which of coarse was picked up by the OC upstairs and he ran right up the middle. I need to go back and look at that plaY

I think Dabo sees this as a good shot as any to dethrone Bama with his 4 DL all gone to NFL next year. Yea, they have some dudes on deck but he needed to see more out of his QB's arm. Lawrence gives them that. They weren't beating Bama with Bryant.

And they gonna beat Bama with a true freshman? Not saying I agree or disagree, gonna be a tough battle for Clemson either way.

Also let's put it this way, in the ACCCG I rather face a true freshman immobile QB in Lawrence than an experienced Bryant (who destroyed us last year). Sure many canes fans will agree with that statement.

The funniest **** is I have dumb *** troll on ignore but I can tell from some of the comments he's posting. Y'all need to just put his *** on ignore.

Oh I agree. But Clemson did open with Furman while we opened with LSU. Richt is a conservative coach and was probably afraid to trust a freshman in that environment. But Dabo put Lawrence in on the road in game 2 against Texas A&M in a close competitive game. He was not afraid to test and substitute to find out what he had. Perry should have seen more action before now. That said, Richt's philosophy with Rosier may now transfer to Perry meaning he'll get a longer leash and get to develop without being being second guessed and pulled for mistakes.

The blitz wasn't really the problem, Jennings not filling the gaping hole the RB ran through was. Agree with you on replacing the LB corps though, $h!t made absolutely no sense.

Some times he's too. conservative for my taste of Orange and Green soda.

Not saying they will or they won't, just think it gives them a better chance than what Bryant gave them. Fromm had Bama beat until Bama inserted their freshman.

I do agree with wanting to face Lawrence rather than Bryant too. I just think Dabo sees Lawrence as being a better fit in their offense right now and making them more difficult to defend and explosive.

Mistake on Dabos part. I'd ride w Bryant one more year. I dont see a transcendent talent in Lawrrence like I do w Tua for example. He's a bad boy no doubt, but I'm not sure he's better than Bryant right now.

I agree Tua is a beast. You see it in all his reps. I really don’t like Bama but I can’t hate on the kid. He has that “It” factor. And is just A playmaker.

Lawerence in the snaps I’ve seen of his. He looks good not great. Maybe with more reps it will happen.

I’m really curious about that’s locker room. A lot SRs. Who just saw their QB and close friend walkout the door and not finish with them, which was their goal. We’ll see how this goes.
