Dabo: "This isn't middle school"

Jacob Eason did the same thing. It’s all about “how can you help me NOW” hence why Rosier should be a backup to finish out his Miami career

You aren't watching any of Clemson's games if you don't see the huge difference in the offense when Lawrence is on the field. With Bryant, they're limited. Everything is in a 10-15 yard box from the line of scrimmage. The defense can overplay the run because Bryant isn't beating anybody over the top. He's a good runner and he takes decent care of the football but you're severely limiting your offense throwing 6 yard passes every down. The Clemson offense is pretty pedestrian with him in there. On the other hand, with Trevor Lawrence, they have a dynamic, down field passing game. There's a reason why he's thrown for more yardage and waaaay more touchdowns than Bryant despite taking less snaps.

Lawrence: 39-60 600 yds 65% 10ypa 9 TD 2 INT 191.8 Rating
Bryant:36-54 461 yds 66% 8.54 ypa 2TD 1 INT 146.9 Rating

Every time I hear "Kelly Bryant won the ACC and took them to the playoff" all I hear is "Malik Rosier won 10 games and beat FSU". Just because your team had success with a quarterback doesn't mean it can't have more success with a different guy.

Only thing I will say is that if he knew he wanted to go with TLawrence as the long term option like Saban and Tua..he should have told Bryant and given him a chance to transfer before the season or in the Spring/Summer. I know what most of you will say, "That's not good business as a coach. You don't want him to transfer so you have to hide your hand."...Well..he's transferring anyway so you lost him regardless. At least Dabo could have gotten the 3rd string guy ready to be a backup in case TL gets injured.

So if TLawrence slips on a banana peel and breaks his leg, you can kiss Clemson's a$$ goodbye this season. He should have kept the 2 QB thing going as long as he could and hoped that Bryant just left as a grad transfer after the season. At least you used him as insurance for this year. Now hes got nothing.
just my 02 but i dont think an offense ever reaches its full potential with a 2-QB system, even under Spurrior

Mistake on Dabos part. I'd ride w Bryant one more year. I dont see a transcendent talent in Lawrrence like I do w Tua for example. He's a bad boy no doubt, but I'm not sure he's better than Bryant right now.

I think Dabo sees this as a good shot as any to dethrone Bama with his 4 DL all gone to NFL next year. Yea, they have some dudes on deck but he needed to see more out of his QB's arm. Lawrence gives them that. They weren't beating Bama with Bryant.

1.) this might hurt recruiting. 2.) i dont get what bryant did wrong. wait until they see lawrence dont have bryants wheels lol

How will it hurt recruiting exactly? Bryant had more than a fair shot along the way. The coach chose the QB who gives him the best shot at winning the championship.

They ain't beating them with Will Grier 2.0 either.

"This isn't middle school"...says the ***** who lures high school kids to that $h!thole state with playground equipment.

I can't take coaches that need 85 kids to find a couple dozen good ones to field a team seriously.

Exactly. Playing highly rated recruits as freshmen isn't going to turn off other highly rated recruits who want to come in and play.

Dabo can't be blamed for picking the best guy, and Bryant can't be blamed for wanting to transfer and play. But ****, don't claim that you didn't get a fair shot. You were the freaking starter.
Rumor is that Dabo promised SUnshine he would start to get him there. So people are saying he wouldve started no matter how well Bryant performed. Doesnt matter less depth this is a good thing for Miami

LOL I don't think anyone is beating them to be honest.
Makes me sick to my stomach. Auburn the only hope in the regular, and thats only bc its a rivalry game
Other than that, only team that can handle them straight up (god dammit!) is OSU.
