Dabo MF Swiney

All we had to do was not **** the bed against Syracuse…
This!!! We have no one to blame but our coaches and players. Everything was set up for us to make the playoffs, and we pull off a monumental bed ****ting, with the best QB we’ve had in at least a quarter of a century, and if we talking draft potential, maybe the best QB we’ve ever had. This will hurt for a while.

Clemson will be good this season, but next season they will have a lot of holes. They havent recruited well enough, and arent aggressive enough YET for portal.

Also lets dont forget they drew a charmin soft ACC achedule last season only playing 1 top 7 ACC team in regular season. They lost that game to Louisville at home by double digits.

They went 9-3 in regular season. Credit them for jumping on SMU early, because after SMU settled in that game they really controlled it. Clemson got that long Ko return with seconds left and booted a 53 yard FG to win, sorta flukey and ball call by CIS coaching legend Rhett Lashlee.

Again they are favorities this year as they bring back alot, but the ACC schedule is much tougher. Play @GT, play @louisville, SMU, Duke, @UNC, @BC. All those away games are tougher than any from last season. Also play LSU and @ South Carolina. Win total at 9.5.

I think that is right 9-3 or 10-2.

For this post, and every other post drumming up praises to Dabo. Let me be a reminder of the greatness of Dabo.

Picked up Interim Coach middle of 2008 after being there for 5 years, was the HC for the last 7 games.
8-4 "Year 1", won the Atlantic with a 6-2 record, lost ACCCG, won the bowl game.
Year 2 went 6-6. Lost the bowl game. Fired Billy Napier
Year 3 went 9-3 (Won Atlantic with 6-2 record, won ACCCG, Let WVU put up 70 points in the bowl game). Fired Kevin Steele.

So, in Dabo's first full 3 years, he won the Atlantic twice with a 6-2 record. Overall record was 25-16. Mario in his first 3 years went 6-2 in year 3, and has an overall record of 22-14. Both of em with a near 61% win rate. Mario with a drastically worse 1st year, and missing on the ACCCG with the same 6-2 record that was good enough for Dabo to make it in.

Also, "typical thug" is the type of **** Miami built a lot of their reputation on. Mario is building "something", and we need to wait and give him time to fail or succeed in his own terms, just like Clemson gave Dabo time.
Agree with all above...however...

"...Also, "typical thug" is the type of **** Miami built a lot of their reputation on..."

The game and rule sets of college football have moved on from that era. Miami (or any team) can fight the law, but the law is gonna win.

Football at the elite top 5 program level is no longer a game of inches, but millimeters. A team simply can't win a natty with targeting, personal foul, and unsportsmanlike conduct infractions. The cost is just too high.

Sounds a lot like what you can say about us many years.

That’s not Mario’s fault though because the o line played pretty good
Mario is the head coach. It’s always ultimately his responsibility.
