Clemson was ranked #17th coming in, bottom line is they got an easy ACC schedule, and they got to the ACC title game best conf win being 7-5 Pitt wirh backup QB where they won by 4 late.

But yes they balled out tonight, they were resdy because they are a winning program that got another chance. SMU want ready for primetime, but once they settled in they sorta dominated, but were in a big hole.

It was a stupid incoherent rant with the timeless shot at the "Columbus cartel", whatever that is supposed to mean. But I get it. We choked our way out of the postseason and that's on Mario and his players.

Dabo turned Clemson in to a winning program. A couple of Natties and dominates the ACC. We gave him the shot and he came prepared. My biggest complaint on Mario is where is the discipline and culture bull **** we keep hearing about? A typical thug personal foul backed us up 15 yards and cost us our best chance to win at Cuse. George had done that numerous times during the season.

For this post, and every other post drumming up praises to Dabo. Let me be a reminder of the greatness of Dabo.

Picked up Interim Coach middle of 2008 after being there for 5 years, was the HC for the last 7 games.
8-4 "Year 1", won the Atlantic with a 6-2 record, lost ACCCG, won the bowl game.
Year 2 went 6-6. Lost the bowl game. Fired Billy Napier
Year 3 went 9-3 (Won Atlantic with 6-2 record, won ACCCG, Let WVU put up 70 points in the bowl game). Fired Kevin Steele.

So, in Dabo's first full 3 years, he won the Atlantic twice with a 6-2 record. Overall record was 25-16. Mario in his first 3 years went 6-2 in year 3, and has an overall record of 22-14. Both of em with a near 61% win rate. Mario with a drastically worse 1st year, and missing on the ACCCG with the same 6-2 record that was good enough for Dabo to make it in.

Also, "typical thug" is the type of **** Miami built a lot of their reputation on. Mario is building "something", and we need to wait and give him time to fail or succeed in his own terms, just like Clemson gave Dabo time.

I don't recall anyone condemning Dabo for preaching about Jesus. What I do see are folks calling out his less than genuine behavior when he goes on to preach about how the Good Lord smileth upon the Tiger faithful when they win football games. This guy knew that boosters were buying players outright but still insisted on carrying on with his holier than thou schtick while it was happening. You think Deshaun Watson went to play for Clemson because of the new slide and Dabo's cool bible studies?? Probably not...but $$$ and unlimited access to any of the local schools of massage may have clinched it.

I’m fairly certain the word “sanctimonious” was created to describe Dabo and the whole Clemson athletic department.
