The 2 RBs ran for 544 yards, the most in the HISTORY OF THE FBS! We allowed 778 YARDS OF OFFENSE, most in PROGRAM HISTORY! Manny just doesn't take Ls, he gets historically crushed. If this slides without significant change we are excusing failure.
 
That game made Dabo a savage. Manny’s has loses to Louisiana Tech, FIU, and a record breaking *** kicking for the record books from the guy that fired him for setting record breaking stats on his record. If losing to LT and FIU ain’t made him a savage yet nothing will. It ain’t in his heart to be that guy. Should of went with Cristobal or Butch on the pure strength that they take no ****. This school is afraid of having an alpha male in charge.

While I agree that most of the defensive staff needs to go, tf sense does that make? Firing baker is like a cartoon character trying to plug a dam leak with bubble gum. Its not going to make a difference.

What kinda head coach has to clean house on both sides of the ball after each of his first two seasons on the job? Why would anyone trust his next hire?

This all goes back to hiring a coach who had never held the top job before. He hadn't built the connections needed to hire a competent staff. That's how you end up with resumes that peak at Louisiana Tech, graduate assistant, Incarnate Word, American Heritage High School, manny's defensive assistant.

Preach that gospel of Blake. Everything is fine, there are no bigger problems at play here. Fire YOUR SECOND coordinator in TWO YEARS and everything will be fine. Band aids have a tremendous track record fixing cracks in dams.

I don’t disagree with the premise of this thread, but it only matters if Manny has the insight (not hard) to make changes. Dalbo didn’t pretend like he had it all figured out. Let’s see what Manny does.

tell yall what, i cant believe this surprises anybody, it happens over and over. How many sorry *** coaches are we gonna make rich before we hire a real one. RS, AG, Mork, Mandy, all garbage w Mandy being the worst ever, and when we made that hire when we coulda had Butch, which woulda given us Jimmy for free, I knew we were done. The ONLY way to fix it is fire the AD and get somebody in here that knows wtf he's doin, and his first order of business would be firing Mandy's sorry ***, he is not a D1 football coach period

This is a valid point, but Manny has some bad traits that will lose us games even with good coordinators.

His biggest problem is leadership intangibles. He can ride a new dc to 10 win seasons, but when the going gets tough he isn’t the steady rock of determination players can look to.

It is possible, but unlikely, he will become the type of personality that can get the best out of his team week in, week out.
