Whether we agree with the polls or not, they are the best opinion as to the strength of the teams. As the year progresses it is brought up to date. For right now, and it’s mostly based on 2018 results, the preseason polls are as good as it gets. I ain’t gonna argue with the ps polls until the season starts. ACC is ****.

We have more talent than other teams which have given them trouble, and even beat them. To have sustained success against them, yes we need an infusion of talent across the board, but we do have a puncher's chance on any given day.

Needless to say I did my best Jonathan Vilma impression and body slammed this fine young ****** right on to the concrete stadium steps. Well now he must have hit the stair just right because I swear it took half of his god**** left ear clean off. That boy was bleeding bad.

The rest is quite honestly a blur. The stadium security people broke off the fight and dragged me off the dude. Seemed to me like they was on us as soon as it started, but that might have been the rum and adrenaline talking. I remember passing out on the grass at the wrong end of the stadium from where I parked, and then mumbling something to a police officer, and getting taken in.

The happy ending is this...they let me out the next day, no charges filed, and I come home to find out Al Golden was fired. Never did see the racist clemson fan again, though. But somewhere out there, in the piece of **** state they call south carolina, there is a redneck piece of crap with half a left ear walking around cursing the day he chose to come to Miami...

You know, normally I don’t condone violence, but I have to say, fūck that little ****y boy. I’m glad you took his head off. He had every bit of it coming, and I’m glad you didn’t get jammed up.

In my opinion, your story had a very happy ending. At the end of it golden was gone, you didn’t catch a charge, and that little punk boy had a lesson taught to him.

Exactly. Last year the ACC had the least amount of ranked teams of any P5 conference. That is being shown in the preseason rankings.
 
The ACC has won 3 of the last 6 national titles, people really need to get shut the **** up about the conference. You aren't "worn down" after having a month off to rest and game plan for the playoffs.

Dawg Mike Leach is out there with extras from Gridiron Gang Movie and the Replacements and doing sh*t in that conference. That conference has Mario Cristobal looking competent. lmao

ACC is a boring *** conference, but it's middle-of-the-pack as far as difficulty goes.

That said, Miami really should join the SEC. I don't know why we stay in the ACC.

big 8 doesn't exist anymore.big12 merged big8 with the southwest conference.

You mean Clemson... cause the rest of the conference didn’t amount to much. This is the reason that the hate FSU contingent here are wrong about them losing every game. We need the Noles and others to be elite in the ACC.

They also played the bottom 5 of the conference within one score, and even lost to one of them. And did I mention they lost to Maryland?

For what exactly?.

What do we need them for?. Does Clemson need them?.

If we win....we win. I dont see how some of you become "conference schills" like those sec guys. I could care less about any team in our conference other than UM.

I never said they were good, I said they were better than the ACC. That isn't saying much. Pac 12 was 1-0 against the ACC in the regular season and 1-0 against the ACC in bowl season.

Leach has pretty much nobody and would still beat every ACC team besides Clemson.
