Kid isn't listed as an EE, so either he already signed or pushed it to Feb and will just announce it on 1/8. If he's already signed, then the re-offer doesn't matter, obvs. Oregon can't offer if he's signed. Something not adding up here. There's a missing piece to the puzzle.

My understanding is that you can wait until cut off enrollment for that particular school?

He can sign during the ESD or on/after NSD. The only exceptions exist for early enrollees, which he isn't.

Edit: If the recruiting sites haven't listed him as an EE, that would be the missing piece, but it feels weird if they've all missed it, suggesting he actually isn't.

No. Probably hasn't actually signed yet. Otherwise that's really dirty to do to Lanning and Oregon. And you'd think they'd do their due diligence and not waste their time.

So it then looks like this kid is committing at the All Star game but not signing til Feb.
